Goodbye, Kasey · 9:54pm Dec 2nd, 2020
Well folks, today was the day. My family's cat, Kasey, whom we've had since 2006 was put down today at the age of 18. It was pretty fast, she didn't suffer and she's in a better place now. The vet let us keep a paw print memorial since we decided not to keep the body.
I'm not sure how this will affect me or my family. I'm already pretty much done with writing for the year, and hopefully by the time the new year roles around I'll know better how this is affecting me. To all those who lent me their support in comments on the previous blog, thank you.
You are very welcome. That's what I love so much about this fandom, how so many are ready to help others, supporting each other
Aww, really sorry to hear that. Losing a pet is a pretty sad time for everyone. But things will get brighter.
My condolences to you, for I know what it's like to lose a pet. I hope things will get better for you and your family.
Sorry man.
I am very sorry for your loss.

Same.
I'm very sorry for your loss i know its very hard to loss a pet
I'm so sorry :(
I know what its like, my pet cat had to be put down due to old age back in 2015.
I know how that feels. 4 years ago my previous dog, Molly, had to be euthanized at age 16-17 due to old age and other factors. I was very morose over the ordeal but there was one thing that helped me cope with her death: a PS4 exclusive entitled The Last Guardian, which came out a week or two after her death. I wasn't able to play it until 2018 but it really helped deal with sorrow of losing Molly.
I hope you take good care of yourself.
May she rest in peace.
sorry for your loss I
Iām sorry for your loss.
Yeah, I've had to live through the loss of more pets than I care to remember, so I can definitely understand the grief you are going through. If you need to take a break from the writing for a while to grieve properly, I will more than understand. As much as I respect your skills as a writer (and I definitely do), I also know and respect that you are as human as the rest of us.
At any rate, I feel for you and your family and wish you well in your emotional recovery.
May she rest in piece.
My condolences . I know what it's like to lose a close pet. We had a dachshund that had been with us since I was a baby (her name was even my and my sister's first words.) She soon grew very sick and got a tumor. We got it out, but she then threw out her back and since she was close to 16 years old, we decided to put her down. We had her cremated and put in a box on our mantle. It's still there.
:( Poor Kitty
Deep sympathies to you, we had to put our jack russell down at the end of October and I still miss him.
It's never easy losing a loving companion but their memory lives on as ong as you remember them.
Know how this feels, had to say goodbye to 2 awesome pups 5 years ago cause of old age. š
My condolences man, hope you still remember the good times you shared.
damn im so sorry
This comes late, I realize, but I'm sorry for your loss.
I know what it's like. I have autism, and I had a yellow labradoe that o loved dearly. She helped me with so much. I was devastated when she had to be put down. I have a new dog though that is a brown labrador.
I'm sorry for your loss; I lost one of my pets last year, too.
