I've Been Sick · 11:35pm Oct 18th, 2020
Yeah... if you're wondering where I've been the last few weeks, it's been because I've been sick. And yes, it's been COVID-19.
First off, don't worry. In many ways, I felt less sick than the last time I had the regular flu. My fever rarely passed 101F, and I barely had a cough. I was mostly fatigued. And I don't think I've infected anyone else. No one in the building I've been living it has shown symptoms.
Now, I'm considered recovered now, and I'm not contagious anymore. I am, however, still feeling the aftereffects of being incredibly tired all the time. Simple tasks, including writing, are wiping me out. I had nearly finished the next chapter of Integration before I caught it. Even picking up a video game controller seemed exhausting at the start of my illness.
The good news is I'm starting to get back to normal, slowly but surely. Maybe you'll see an update next weekend.
Damn.
I'm sorry about your illness, but thank God that you're feeling better, for sure.
Oh my god! I am so sorry that happened to you!
That is absolutely terrifying. I’m just relieved to hear that you are feeling better, and that you don’t think you infected anyone else. If something happened to you we would all be completely devastated. I’ll be praying that you finish recovering and are back to 100% soon.
Oh, thank goodness you're okay.
Glad to see you better! It sounds like you had a medium case, hopefully you can dodge all the nasty side effects. Take your time and focus on staying well.
Bloody Covid... Glad to hear that you're doing alright mate and best wishes to you and your family's health.
Get well soon.
Dear Lord, sorry to hear that, Darth!
You just worry about getting better, okay?
Which it's good to hear you are.
Everything else can wait.
As to updates, any time is cool.
Glad you're gettin' better Darth!
So sorry. I hope you get better soon. Stay safe and stay happy.
It's good to hear you are recovering well. Thankfully that is the case with a large number of the cases these days. Most catch the mild to moderate cases and while more are catching it, because of treatments and everything, less people are dying. It stinks you had to catch it, but the plus side is now you have a more natural defense against it. That's what caused problems in the beginning because no one had seen or had it before and we weren't prepared when it hit HARD! I believe that with the combo the massive majority of people wearing masks as a normal thing nowadays, people catching it and either recovering naturally or getting treated at the hospital, and a vaccine (which may or may not be available by next month at the earliest or possibly early to middle next year), we'll beat this thing. And in five years time, this will be merely as bad as catching a normal flu or cold.
Continue to get better and gain your strength back 😊.
I am so sorry that you got COVID-19 dude, but I'm glad that it was a mild case and I'm also glad that you have recovered.
Good to hear you're recovering. Take as much time as you need to get back to 100%.
Ouch! Glad to hear you're on the mend.
Glad to hear ya ok but be careful there are long-term symtoms with the Covid-19
I'm glad you're okay and didn't spread it to anybody else. I know for a fact that it can take awhile to actually feel better even after recovering from the flu or a flu-like disease, so care of yourself.
Yeah feeling fatigued was about all I felt after it was over, though I did have a 103 fever for like, 30-ish hours. It honestly wasn't all that bad really. Glad you're on the mend though.
Glad to hear you are getting better. One of my uncles had it but he pretty much only had a runny nose.
Glad to see you are ok:
