"You'll wait here and be grateful that I find no cause for you to have an accident creature," she said, sneering.

I didn't know if it was instinct or a mixture of my newfound magic or...or something else.

    Finally, fucking finally!

I've finally managed to find the time to re-read the entire story up until The Abandoned chapter.

As such I now have both the information, feel and motivation to continue the epic tale of Richard and Chrissy.

    Here's a small sneak-preview -

"What in the hell is going on here?" I asked, eyes wide as I took in the frankly terrible sight.

Food For Thought? (Mated For Life) · 9:58pm May 26th, 2020

A great number of you are crying out for the Ponies extinction, a rather interesting amount to be fair.

So I propose to you a question.

Do they all deserve to end?

Remember, Richard has only seen the Ponies of Canterlot, who are snobby arseholes, and Ponyville who as we know are superstitious at best. He hasn't seen the rest of Equestria and hasn't met those of nicer temperament.

So, given that thought, do you still believe that they all need to go extinct for the actions of a few?

Discuss.

In truth no, stupid should not breed but two cases of stupid should not condemn all, just like how one (shattered luna) should not doom the many no matter how humorous/poetic(?) it may be.

It isn’t fare to kill them all off. That said, nobody owes them anything, salvation or otherwise. Not helping them isn’t the same as killing them, and they did dig their own grave. If it were me, I would help them only if Celestia had some severe punishment, after all, they did nothing to help the situation, even the “good ones”.

l will say that not all of them deserve it..... Luna did, but she has gotten her punishment... Celestia does MAJORLY deserve some major punishment for the shit she has put Richard and Chrissy through, not to mention her little fanatic Twilight deserves some punishment as well

Tartarus no. The actions of a few do not represent the actions of many. If they deserve extinction for what he went through, then he in turn deserves to die for what every innocent, human or simple animal went through because of HIS kind, OUR kind, humanity to even it out karmatically as well as all of humanity on Earth. At what point does senseless violence and death end? Does this sound unfair? Yes but it would be hypocritical to think the Equestrians deserve this any less than our own kinds sins as that would be unfair to them then.

Best case scenario is for peace and love to win the day, forgive and forgive, never forget lest we allow history to repeat itself.

No, I don't think the entire species should pay. If possible I'd love to see the worst offenders get some sort of comeuppance, but to outright wipe the species out (or letting it die) it's just too much IMO.

Letting it die is the right term, Richard and Chrissy have no desire to kill anyone beyond those we know.

In truth, all they want is to be left alone.

Going by the canon for the show, I think the ponies are a ticking time bomb that will destroy the planet.

For one, they are only race in the setting that caused literal ice demons to destroy their home continent, and they were formed by the hatred that ponies had for each other.

By nature they are racist to other races (and each other still), and only with the magic of harmony, a literal macguffin, are they able to move past that.

Every nation outside of pone land is a literal shit hole, the ponies have no empathy for things out of thier narrow world view.

An unhinged unicorn with a shitty sob story fucked time so hard that alternate universe were made that gave everyone a bad end.

One of the royal sisters literally tried to genocide the entire planet because they didn't appreciate their night. Even without the nightmare they control the orbits of the sun and moon, and thus control the planet.

One mare is the lynchpin for everything in this house of cards to not come crashing down. If she's absent everyone dies or is enslaved.

Having no elements of harmony, or the magic of it means they will eventually go off the deep end and take everyone with them. I'd be honestly unsurprised if the magic of harmony did exist but chose to sterilize their race, seeing no hope for thier future.

No, I don't believe outright killing an entire race would prove anything. It's like, I feel like this is a poor but relatable reference, when you used to be in high school and that one person is acting like a idiot. The teacher doesn't know who it is so they decide to punish everyone in the classroom for the idiot's actions. You can see what I'm talking about, is it justified for the whole race to be punished when it was the actions of a group that did it?

No, I don’t believe they deserve to die. Canonically only Canterlot has shown ponies who were a pain in the ass. And with the Emily/Luna fusion, things will be better for Chrys and Richard who now have a powerful ally on the pony side. And with these recent discoveries, Cadence will probably not be as antagonistic as she once seemed to be.

5269543
You know just thinking about what you said got me thinking; what would be the consequences IF Richard and Chrissy decided to kill everypony? Obviously they probably didn't think what would happen after if they did decide to do it, you could might as well say that they doomed the entire world, forget Equestria if we were to go by canon logic. Hence another reason why they shouldn't kill the entire race.

They should not let them go extinct for the actions of a few

I think they should just die just as dinosaurs ruled this planet of ours their time ended and so shall our time end someday and next specie or something takes over its nature's way.

I am 50-50 tbh they seem not to now it that they are dying out so what happens is their true attitudes but at the same time is not morarly correct be better than your adversary not worse

Not really.

Only those who treated non-ponies like trash deserves dat.

I don't want to see the ponies die out. Like many others have said, the average pony deserves a chance to live. It's easy to have a myopic view and think the entire pony race is like Canterlot and the Princesses. But they're not.

To address "A Drunk Soviet"'s comments, most of the issues brought up are done by a limited few. And even in our world, absolute power corrupts absolutely. Another thing to remember is that the ponies are prey animals. They fear anything that is different and anything that is not part of their own clan. Individuals tend to be fine, but they can overreact with great force towards any predators in the area.

Back to the story. Everyone treats Celestia's solution as the only possible one, but I don't think it is. It doesn't really solve the issue - once Richard dies of old age, the ponies will slide back into the same problem once again. Besides, I'm sure she's convinced that fucking Richard is the only solution because of her crush on him. So, ask Chrysalis for help. Use changeling pods to alter ponies just enough so they're more fertile again. It can involve Richard's DNA if Zamairiac feels it's necessary. It can make each pony part changeling as well, if it fits the story. Maybe males are the infertile ones, and they're the only ones that have to go in the pods.

Celestia can spin this politically. She tells the public about the fertility issues, and says she has partnered with the Changeling race to help fix the issue. The pods are put in pony hospitals, and covered in hospital gear so they look like pony medicine. And to reassure the public, Celestia and Luna publicly undergo treatment and are impregnated by males of their choosing. The public should be willing to undergo treatment if the Royal Sisters show that it's safe.

5269580
This isn't really spoilery, so I'll divulge this.

While they are using Richard's seed, what they are using it for is its inherent potential to impregnate. The problem with the everyday stallion's seed is simply its infertility and its potential to be fertile, which by this point is abysmally low.

They aren't actually using Richard's seed on its own but rather using magic to identify its potential, syphon it, then from it create a cure for the infertility of stallions. It just takes a flipping long time, which is why in the first story Richard was told he would NOT be sent back until years had passed.

Richard can die of old age, but as long as he donates his seed, the cure will eventually be made.

Of course the problem now is that he's no longer completely Human, and therefore there is a chance that his seed might be different, or perhaps contain little potential where it once contained near unlimited. Oh and the fact that he doesn't even want to donate it anymore.

So yeah, fun.

Honestly I don't think so, because while some ponies are jerks-- especially Celestia? Lets add in that the Ponies are also helping with the Eco system. Granted I'm not sure what system is in the story for the world to be 'good' conditions. But if Celestia and Luna move the sun and moon-- then the ponies help produce the weather, the ground, and so on. So if the Ponies were extinct? the world would have a sudden problem of not just producing its needs of its planet to be taken care of, but is unable to do so as Ponies have 'domesitcated' everything and the world would probably be into a barren place in maybe 60 years, tops.

5269543
This is an interesting point. Made more interesting by the addendum that every nation outside Equestria is a shithole...except the ones allied with them. Saddle Arabia certainly seems fine, and while Mt. Aris is borderline since Equestria obviously didn't help them against the Storm King, what we've seen of it before and since shows the hippogriffs to be pretty well off compared to those around them. Also note Griffonstone and the Changelings only started to experience better conditions after becoming pony allies. And this is in canon with a benevolent Celestia and Element bearers managing Equestria.

In this world, without that...it may be best for the world for the ponies to die out...assuming that can happen without taking the rest of the world with them.

One last thin if like to point out for my side of the argument, a single human can't destroy earth, not without others supporting and enabling it (and tons of manpower, supplies, tech etc...) one unicorn almost killed the real equestria, and created at least 3 doomed timelines. One alicorn almost caused an extinction event because she was sad etc...

They only have to have one fuck up that the canon twilight sparkle can't friendship no jitsu to bring ruin upon them all. This stories twilight has no empathy, and is driven solely by her mentors whims. Equestria is fucked.

They Don't all deserve to die, that's completely unfair and you know it lol. Celestia and Twilight deserve to be punished sure, I'd let Cadance Pass since she's been used as a pawn and given how she reacted to what Celestia and Luna have done in the past proves that. and Canterlot could stand to be taken down a peg or two. Besides What of other characters? ya'll saying the rest of the mane 6 or Coco pommel, Fancy Pants, Vinyl to name a few deserve death? That's sum bull shit.
Calling for the extinction of a race in general is just stupid, my two cents.

why should all of them die for mistakes of others

The entire society can't be blamed for the misdoings of two individuals.
Punish Celestia and Twilight, sure, but kill everypony? No.

Here we go with a TCB question or Theory. Why would any one would save that race when their is no forgiving the history they did. Sorry can not fix any of the wrong. What real fuckin human would forgive any of them for the evil they pass on the defenseless, truly? I believe none of you yahoos of this fandom forgive those who were behind 9/11, so I know none could forgive these versions of the Royals and their subjects from both cities of the crimes they committed against not just the main character here but those from this story's past fallen that they had killed and tarnish. No one here can say they can't forgive someone that killed a little kid or should I say some baby horse that they were close to and just say okay I forgive you for what you did, let's cut the b******* even though this is story and yes I know I'm an ass-whole to all you yahoos here so what, but for real you won't forgive nobody that done these evil Deeds to anyone that don't deserve it, be for real.

Now you can down vote to hurt my non horse feelings.

Ok everyone seems to think they would be killed nah they would die in few generations and nobody doesn't even have to do anything. Its not really that cruel, I see few options for them
1. Finish the cure
2. Find compatible specie and find a way to create hybrids and accept that normal ponies will no longer exist. (Im sure magic will help)
3.simply accept what's to come and tell the ponies the truth and let the chaos begin as they start to panic

An entire species can not be punished for the mistakes of a select few
its not right and its not fair

Man, you guys are bloodthirsty

5269794
Most of us are only bloodthirsty for Celestia, Twilight and possibly some others. The rest can live as they have done nothing wrong.

I think that they only think of the ponies, who's had an impact on Richard and Chrissy have been bad, with bloodlust. If you spend so much time only making interactions with the ponies bad, and spend almost no time (compared to how long Richard has been in that world) having them have positive interactions with any ponies, then of course readers are only going to write comments full of bloodlust. People only really focus on what happens in the story, not things that happen in that world that haven't been implied in the story. Even Luna can't really be counted as a positive interaction, because it took a literal soul death and a merge with Emily to get her to finally have a positive interact with Richard and Chrissy. There has to be a pony that has genuinely good interactions with them, and not be because of a similar case to Luna (to put it in Persona 5 terms, a change of heart because their treasure was stole).

5269794
Making characters that comments evil deeds, they to deserve to be punished with their blood.

5273944
Exactly, not to mention them summoning the dome momentarily got his mate and unborn child killed because he had no possible way to know the consequences off resisting the dome’s will. While I’ll admit what’s her name dropped the ball there too (by not telling him about it), we can assume that it was more out of forgetfulness then ill intent (and since Luna had a change of heart, I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt and say she didn’t consider that Richard might fight against the dome).

5273974
The dome has only been used once in history, and the other side didn't fight against it.

Luna had no way of knowing what it could do. The only reason she and Celestia know that they cannot defy a deal without consequences is because they were taught as such.

5273979
By who? If it’s only been used once, who’d know that it’d have consequences? Also that makes the dome sound arrogant as hell, since it’s only been used once, and yet expected everyone to know not to defy it, then got angry when someone did.

5273981
They who came before...

Time for some lore.

Before the Ponies became the dominant race of Equestria, there were others. What they were nobody knew, they were simply known as the Old Ones to Celestia and Luna as they grew up.

They left behind written knowledge and the like so that the Ponies and other races capable of magic could learn the Old Magic. Celestia and Luna know about the consequences of the dome's deal because it was written as such.

As for arrogance, well...yeah. They were and so was their magic. A single spell used by an Old One had more power within it than a thousand powered up Chrissy's.

I may put this in at some point. But it was never a focus of the story, so I may not.

5273995
Alright, thanks for clearing that up!
