    It's been a hot minute, hasn't it?

Despite my deafening silence, i still lurk this place... yet a recent proposition from my anonymous editor, who plans not to be anonymous much longer, will have me coming back to this place more and more in the future. What's the deal? You'll see eventually.

Also are Private Messages broken? I can't PM any of my site friends. :raritydespair:

Taking 2 story commissions (both slots filled)

Meant to start this last month but never got around to doing such thanks to life being too busy to focus on side projects, however with March around the corner and things easing up, I've decided to open up commissions again. Much like how I usually take commissions, I'll open myself up to writing any genre and/or fetishes my customer is interested in at a rate of $16/1,000 words. I will

We don't talk enough. · 8:15pm Mar 25th, 2020

We really don't. In a time where mostly everyone is isolated in their homes, I kinda feel the need to reach out and see how everyone is coping with the pandemic.

Not having a day care available was kinda annoying at first, but thankfully my mother is more than welcome to watch the kids while me and the hubby work. Work is still on for both of us and thanks to my job, I'm more or less just sitting at a desk all day, watching cameras and answering phone calls. It's boring when no one is walking around, but no people means no trouble, and no trouble means I can scribble bits of stories all day.

How are you fine people coping with everything?

Oh, I'm doing just wnderful. I'm not all that social, anyway. It's still nice to talk to all you great people online.:twilightsheepish:

At work. Playing Plague IncTM, reading horse words, and contemplating the legality of manufacturing a tank.

So... nothing new.

Heck, I was already isolated.

I work at a supermarket.

I guess I shouldn't write anything long and depressing but there are so many more wasteful shoppers now and yet also people who want to come to the store to complain that they need skim milk but the only stuff you can get locally since all production went into 1% and 2% is organic and twice as expensive. Thats capitalism baby, we just distribute it.

That and I'm pretty sure tons of people eat out constantly so what do they buy when they dont know how to cook? Eggs, milk for cereal and mac and cheese. I'm certain thats why the dairy is gone now heh. Good for the dairy farmers since they've been in a slump but that whole market is kind of a economical anomaly anyways.

Outside of working from home, this is completely normal for me. Though considering how little work is getting done, the amount of writing I've been doing has skyrocketed, so that's nice.

Dealing with 12 hour work days because people need a metric fuckton of water and soda, it seems.

I'm not that social either. Always have been quiet and to myself, but it's nice to take a step and try talking with people.
5228433
the hubby plays that game as well and was always nerved about how fast the world panics when it learns of the plague. Ironic now when you think of it.
5228445
My purse feels that pain as well.

5228450
You and me both in the writing department. With slow work days and the kids being with their nana, I've been so productive, I'm scaring myself with how much I'm chugging out. Written more in the last 3 days, then the whole month prior.
5228452
I sympathize with the you. I've been getting a few 12 hour days myself and it drains you quickly. Sure the paycheck is nice, but I rather attempt to have a social life on the side.

I published two really long chapters in the last three weeks, so I definitely haven't been sitting on my hands or anything, but yeah, this is the most I've written in a short time since I was pretty much ignoring my classwork back in college for the sake of churning out 10k chapters.

Nothing like self-quarantine to get people doing something-- anything-- to stave off the boredom.

Overall pretty good. I'm right now enjoying the break between matriculation exams (in Finland) and the proper end of the school. Corona has thus far changed little, except for my sister going to school via internet. It also made finding a job a bit more difficult.

My mom is a nurse, so the governement might order her to work at an area where thinfs are not going too great. A little worried about that, but not too much.

I work in retail so if anyone is going to die from all of this, I will. At least I still have a job.

5228485
Yeah I feel sorry for the doctors and nurses who have to deal with everything going on. It always seems they don't get enough credit for the hard work they put in. Even more so nowadays,

Good to hear that you're doing alright, TS and somewhat isolated at work. Though it's boring it is safer.

I'm working, as I'm in a mission critical position (boiler plant operator). I also work part time at a hardware store. The owner is going to start implementing city policies limiting the number of people in the store and having people clean their hands, which we've been doing, anyway. I'm sure some will complain (it's a small hometown store, not a chain) but they're just going to have to get used to it. This situation is far too serious.
All of you stay safe and well!

5228465

I'd say the same if I wasn't salary.

5228460
Yep. And it was amusing... well, it still is, but in a dark "oh, so that's what it looks like in reality" sort of way.

And I shall make note of ignoring the panzer in the post.

5228551
Money is money no matter how you make it. We all do what we need to get by in life. I don't judge.

5228572
Good to know.

So... got any hobbies?

5228608
Between writing and parenting... I do find the time to enjoy good mobile games like Another Eden,

Or any other game that prioritizes story and game play over the size of your wallet,

5228609
Hmmm... can't say I've heard of it. But, I haven't heard of a lot in the lines of games. I personally prefer games that take no thought to play, or every shred of concentration a body possesses.

I also enjoy making things for fun. I haven't made anything for fun in a few years, but I plan to in the near future.

Animal Crossing New Horizons and binge watching some anime.

Tired mostly I work at a grocery store and it a mad house I have never seen so many people in the store if it was not a holy day on the plus side I'm getting a dollar more a hour and over time

We got a "shelter order" or something in our county today.
My job gave me a document that corroborates I've been "deemed essential", in case I get stopped or questioned.

It's amusing to think that I have "papers" now.
"Jawohl, Herr Officer! Here are mein papers!"

I uhhaa. apparently Quarantine is just my life style. I've not changed anything at all other than stopping uber after work. Work is going on and talking about reduced hours. Other than that all the shops are closed but I don't go into my local store, I order online and use curbside pickup. All around me people are losing their minds over it and its just not bothered me at all.

yo titty! just got this saw this lol

im doing good, beaten doom eternal on ps4. and been playing smash ultimate and other games lol

Work has slowed to a crawl due to policies of the state and work. Hoping that our state don't get hit hard in the coming weeks. Other than that, nothing to do but live as normally as possible.

I live in Kansas US and I don't live in an area with a mandatory home isolation order (yet), but I work in a grocery store anyway so I would be excluded in such orders anyway.

Edit: Guess what happened after posting this...

Other than that, taking up a hobby in sewing/tailoring like I've wanted to for awhile.

So I just had the funniest thing happen Friday at work. Just a quick backstory I work at a VA hospital and been screening anyone that comes in for awhile. This crazy homeless guy came in looking for help because he thought a someone was using rogue military tech to irritate his left testicle. Ran off when asked if he was a veteran.

I and three friends have built a study group and I'm spending so much time with IRL people I've all but forgotten about online.

I am writing horsewords and reading horse fuckery

Work at my job, then home. Tablet for internet and gaming. And my phone shut off due to funds shortage with cut hours and other, more pressing matters at-hand/hoof/paw...

I went through a 2 week one prior as well, but it all started to return to me recently. Hard to contain it all at once when you starting writing again.

A.E. is more of a RPG sadly. Its mindless when you start but once you hit the endgame content, you actually gotta think. :applejackconfused: At least you got something nice planned out for yourself though, and I hope you enjoy it!
5228733
5228743
its actually kinda funny watching everyone running around and panicking when I go shopping and calmly grab my items.
5228959
I don't even use my cellphone anymore for calling. Nowadays I just write in offline docs whenever I got time and inspiration.
5228913
I've heard similar stories from friends in the same area as your line of work. It's amusing and saddening at the same time.

I just today left my home for something other than work or groceries. As I type this, I sit at the local laundromat about a mile or so from my home. Drying my clothes. Sucks having a working washing machine, but a busted dryer.
