Well, it's done. 7 or so hours of STRAIGHT writing, no editing because it's 5 am and I'm dead tired, with only 7 hours left on the clock which I'm going to use to sleep forever. I'm at that weird stage of sleepiness where I don't know exactly if what I wrote was good or not, but I'm going to leave it up to fate.

"Hey, Risu, you should totally join this contest. We need some writers, and you might be good for it."
"Oh yeah? What's it about?"
"Sunset Shipping fic!"
"Ech. Shipping. Ech. Sunset. ECH."
[2 Days ago]
"So maybe I should join this contest."
[47 hours ago]
"Uh... so what's Sunset Shimmer like, anyway?"
[45 hours ago]
"Hey, can anyone tell me about Sunset? Like I mean... what's her character?"

"Oh, she has none."

Okay. So here's the deal.
I'm writing a contest entry about my 2 most hated things. Shipping and Sanset Sahmszor. And I know. I KNOW I've written A Sunset Shimmer fic before, but then I started getting complaints that it gave people nightmares and projectile vomiting and it was a thing, maybe because it is the most innocent story ever and everyone's just a hater.
(By the way, I just want to take a serious moment break to say that PresentPerfect did a fletching amazing reading of it. You REALLY should listen to it here. It's honestly amazing, and truly captures the 'humour' of it that everyone seemed to have missed, the dummies.)
But anyway, thing is, I have 36 hours to write a proper full story, and I don't have a fucking plot yet. I've just been kind of dumping shit on gdocs with the vain hope that some kind of idea will jump into my brain. I think I'm kinda NEARLY there? Or something? And to make matters worse, I know absolutely NOTHING about Sunset Shimmer, EQG or her proclivities for romance.
Wish me luck. I have a feeling this is going to end up hilariously bad. But maybe it won't! Either way, at the very most you get a decent story about my most hated things in the world, and at the very least you're going to get something so-bad-it's-good. I hope it's the former.
So yeah, if what pops up next is terrible, you know who to blame.
