I get this... a lot. It's common knowledge at this point, I would hope, that I'm poly. WTF is that? Does it mean I'm just some slut? Am I going to hell?
...okay well that last part is probably a given, but anyway.
Well, my fine friend (at least I'd venture to call him that I hope? :/ ) Shakespearicles decided to write a post discussing his poly lifestyle which, while different than mine, I think will answer a lot of valuable questions. So I'd recommend you take a look, ask questions, get some answers, etc. I think a lot of it can be summed up as: "we do this because it makes us happy and it works for us."

See, I definitely don't call myself a slut, and don't think of myself as one. A flirt, maybe, but as far as sex goes... thaaaat's not something I'm very carefree about, despite being poly. So they're definitely not the same thing.

And that’s totally fine! One thing I emphasized in my own comment over on Shakespearicles’ blog is that love and polyamory come in so many different shapes.
Well it's good to see both semi takes on this. My introduction to it was probably weird, but a welcome one from my family. So that kind of helped me to be happy with how I wish to live my life.

I have a husband of nearly nine years, two boyfriends, and a girlfriend. My girlfriend is also dating my husband, but my other two boyfriends are not romantically involved with my husband, girlfriend, or each other. The two boyfriends are long distance relationship, but are both over four years long so far. SO. So far so good.
At this point I'd say my dance card is truly well and full.
