Kinda darkly humorous that the main antagonists(sans Cozy Glow) lived. Also damn, the only rulers left are Cadence, Twilight and Ember it seems. Thorax, Celestia, Luna, even Mayor Mare.
I'm wondering, in this fic is it all life period that was wiped out or just sapient life? It isn't plants in canon, mainly because of the shot at the end where Thanos is looking at the sunset, there's just a field of grass there completely untouched. There's also tons of trees as well. They only confirmed animals as being part of the snap, I don't think there was ever any reference to plants.

Haha, no, he won't be missed. At least Garble was in more episodes than Blueblood and occasionally serves a purpose. Blueblood has zero relevance to anything at all. You could literally replace him with a potted plant in the Gala episode and Rarity would actually have had a better time.

Equestria is in a bad position. Beyond losing a lot of ponies, including Luna and Celestia and three of the Mane Six, three major villains survived: Chrysalis, Tirek and Grogar. Things are going to get worse before they get better, if they ever do.
Part of what makes it so tragic is that, on top of being evil on an unspeakable scale, Thanos' plan is just wholly impractical. Even if there were some way to justify the mass slaughter ethically, it woudn't actually work. So, not only is this evil, but it's ineffective evil.

And the bigger problem is that Thanos is alien, wich mean his concept of good and evil are fundamentally different from ours. We are literally unable to judge him in any way because his mindset is completely different from ours.

I've never bought into the idea that someone having a different mindset means that we can't judge their actions as wrong. If someone is a psychopath and a sadist (in the literal medical sense) and they do not comprehend that tossing a baby off a bridge is wrong, we can still judge that action as wrong because, well, it is wrong. Thanos' lack of understanding doesn't absolve him.
Moreover, as I stated (and as the video better explains), even if we leave aside morality, his plan is totally impractical.
