Hey, gang. Been a while, eh?
As you may have noticed, I've ended my posting hiatus with an update to The Face of Magic, long-awaited, as one reader so loves to remind me. I'm glad everyone seemed to enjoy the new chapter and hope you're all looking forward to Twilight's interactions with the Bearers and Sunset as much as I am.
Side note: I don't know if any of you have seen Bleach Abridged, but every time I think "The Bearers and Sunset" I feel like Aizen mocking Grimmjow after demoting him and repeatedly saying "I'll be sending two Espadas. And also Grimmjow ... Yes, two Espadas. Ten and six. And Grimmjow."
Anyway, I've also worked on a couple commission fics while hidden away. One has been posted, the other hasn't, mostly because I forgot if the commissioner wanted it to be private or not and I need to ask him, but I'm also not that bothered either way. I'm just glad the commissioners enjoyed their respective pieces and had a lot of fun putting them together.
As for what I've been working on over my break ... hoo boy. Let's see. I worked on those commissions, glared at Twiling until I could figure out a good way to continue the next couple chapters, worked my way all the way up to chapter 19 of Out of Love, prodded out the second chapter of my unnamed ChryLight fic, prodded at a sequel to Best Served Cold (I'm rather taken with it, actually), mused on my mageTwiLuna idea that Silfoe and Amary will surely bap me repeatedly for if I don't start on it soon, and started on a TwiDance idea that I brainstormed with my old friend, Noble Thought. Got about three chapters into that last one. I also brained a bit of an ... well, erotic siren fic with Damaged. We'll see what happens there. And I discovered wants to work on Paradise AU and work on a fic focusing on a few side characters in Manehatten in the canon Respite series.
So, as you can see, I've been a very busy changeling. No bap bug, I've been good.
I'm also prodding away at some non-pony original stuff with a couple friends. I'm not sure if it'll get published anywhere or if it'll just be for kicks, but hey, I'm having fun, we're having fun, that's enough for right now. We need more of that mindset I feel.
I also have been quite busy with school, finally made it into the upper level core classes for my degree. So, hooray for that.
