So uh...
I wrote a story yesterday. Said story took all of twenty minutes to write. I rushed through it super fast to show it to Zap before he went to bed... and then he went to bed anyway.
And now the stupid thing is sitting at number 2 in the feature box.
If I'd known it was that easy to write featurebait I'd have done it sooner.
I'm just gonna... ruminate very hard on how my life ended up here.

No but seriously thank you guys very much for your support even if it is on a stupid fic I just shoveled out onto the site because I could, this has already absolutely blown away the reception I expected to get on just uploading a shitfic to the site because of a joke.

I had to censor the original but only in the barest sense. I changed "Fucking" and "cunt" to "F*cking" and "c*nt" and apparently that was good enough
Oh, I do remember seeing it in the featured box and thinking "Nope." Now I saw your blog after finishing reading SSI, and had to read it.
I must say, however clickbaity and simple it may be, I certainly wouldn't nominate it for "the stupid thing" award like you tried to. Simplicity is the best sometimes, and it sure was a funny read. Won't put it in my favorites either, but I gave it a thumbs up without hesitating.
You most certainly got me (and many others, I'd bet) with the [american] football in the end. I kinda forgot it even existed. ( Also, I thought it was just a synonym for rugby :/ Not a big fan of sports, really. Most of my memories from the World Cup are of a fanzone going wild almost right beneath my window, which I could not even close because I accidentally busted the glass. )
