Equestria at War Update - The Way of Fire (2.2)

Hey there everybody! I've emerged from the darkness to help spread the news about another project that I'm working on. As I've mentioned in the past, in addition to being a fimfic author, I'm also a senior writer on the Hearts of Iron 4 mod, Equestria at War (discord link here), which is a fun (and sometimes very time consuming) volunteer project to dedicate

Equestria at War: Shores of Zebrica

Hey hey people, been a while hasn't it? Yeah, it's ya boy with another one of those "drop off the face of the earth and then post a blog post out of the blue" moments. At least they only last a couple of months (usually) right?

Oh hey guys, it's been a minute hasn't it?

I made it no secret in that blog post that I'm nowhere near as active on the site as I used to be (I didn't even do the year in review/year in preview blog posts I have (had) been doing for a long time now at the turn of 2023), and I don't really know if that will improve or not. But at the very least I'm still writing and plan to continue releasing updates to my current project in September when some more things in immediate focus get resolved, and maybe I'll find the inspiration again for another short story to release something new. But my old stuff is still here for new people to read (and old followers to re-read) everyday, so it's not like my presence is entirely gone, right?

All that serves as a convoluted segue into why I'm writing today's blog post. Over the past few months, RBDash47 has been organizing a book store at Everfree Northwest, and though I won't be attending the con in person, my work will be! I was given the opportunity to join in, and as such, fifteen copies of my first story, Of Skies Long Forgotten, will be available to purchase at the book store. It's not a lot, since I didn't have a good gauge of the interest, but when I participated in the book store at the final Bronycon they sold fairly well, so I figured I should let any of my followers who are interested have the opportunity to hear about it and go check it out before they're all gone. So, uh, that's what the purpose of this blog post is!

TA Song of Storms: Of Skies Long Forgotten
The pegasi that founded Equestria have a dark past, a past steeped in war and a fight for the survival of their very race, and one that Commander Hurricane played a key role in.

To everybody who's attending EFNW, I hope you have a great time, and if you're interested in getting a copy of OSLF for yourself, I do have them listed on Lulu. You can find them here!

In the meanwhile, back to the dark den of looking for time to write. Sparrow should return in September when I have a little more time to focus on it, and I've also got an older unreleased story that is like 75% done that I've been meaning to revisit. Maybe I can get it shaped up and out before the year's out. Who knows.

Until next time!

Definitely good to have a book store around the con! Galacon didn't have as much books as I've seen at the book nook ^-^

Sounds like a cool thing to have at a con, though im grabbing myself a copy through the link here as i wont be attending. Always love your works even if more sparce these days.
