24cord

Hey everyone, this one's just a quick blog today as a sort of poll or inquiry or what have you about something that arose in another discord chat I'm in. Basically, the idea was pitched that a discord chat for my story, Surviving Sand Island, would be awesome or something. And because I love to stroke my own ego and increase reader engagement with my stories, I decided it might be a pretty nito idea to have a discord for all my fodder and sweatshop works in general.

So I'm asking you nerds, everyone that follows me and especially the people reading SSI, whether or not that's something you'd be interested before I go about trying to do that and then get a sad because only like 3 people use it. Just leave a comment below or something so I can gauge interest before I actually pursue this with more seriousness.

Instead of simply a discord for SSI, why not make a general discord server? One for all of your readers instead of just one story that will eventually finish?

I'd join it. Though, I'm not sure if it'd be better to have an author discord or an SSI discord.

It would be for everything, but SSI would just probably see the most use at the moment, since it's an ongoing daily and it's easier to have a discussion in a chat room instead of through story comments
