    One Last Update

Hey all. As my last blog said, and as you've probably noticed, I've basically left the site. Comments from me are very rare and I expect blogs (like this one) will be even rarer. But interesting times have gotten even more interesting, so I'm back for one final message.

    Updates, and Endings

Been a while, eh? A part of me wants to put a joke there, maybe a "kept you waiting, huh?" reference, but I don't think this is the blog for it.

Just a heads up, this isn't going to be a fun blog.

    Galacon Was Fun

Well, strictly speaking, Galacon itself was a massive let-down. Only a single writing-related panel during the entire convention and it was awful. It was also apparently part two, when part one happened last year? Bloody stupid.

But that's ok, because I had the good sense to stay away from that nonsense, and hung out with some cool Horse People instead.

Health Updates and Other Things · 4:08pm Nov 9th, 2017

Ahoy there. I just realised the last proper blog of mine was "I may be dying idk" followed by a fair amount of silence. Which, in retrospect, was pretty dumb. So here's a health update.

I may be dying idk I had an ultrasound last week. On the plus side, no visible tumors, meaning whatever's wrong probably isn't cancer. But it happened to reveal, among other things, an enlarged spleen. Combined with my other symptoms (protein levels nearly 3x the upper limit, etc.) indicates long term, potentially irreparable problems. Being referred know to a specialist at the local hospital, so we can get to the bottom of this.

So yeah,#Pray4plum still in full effect.

In unrelated, more fun news, SA podcast is happen this weekend, with guests from the Barcast. They're shitlords, but at least they're funny ones. Come check that shit when it goes live Saturday evening. I'd drop a link, but I'm on phone and cba. Will add one when I get home.

Eat your banan get swole

Srsly though. Please don't die. I like you. And if someone doesn't keep telling me to git gud, then I'll just eternally be awful.

Also, I like your face and stuff.

Try not to die, k?

If you die, I'll kill you.

I sincerely hope your specialist is open with you, helpful, and finds ways to combat whatever ails you. I understand how your body being a bitch to you feels. I am glad it's not cancer, but if you ever need to talk about health-related frustrations and medical woes, please do contact me. I'd be happy just to chat or offer advice, or just listen.

You'll survive.

If not, we could just plant your remains. So you'll still survive. But seriously, stay positive.

~Skeeter The Lurker

I would be mildly put out if you died.

So, you know...

... don't.

For real tho, despite being a bunch of shitlords, this was oddly heartwarming. Fucking nerds

Ooch. That doesn't sound fun. Spleens are meant to be fonts of cheap comedy, not things requiring the attention of medical specialists.

Don't die, if possible.

4721393
Well, I'll make sure you're extra dead!

You can't die, Plum. Who else would be the dapper chap at Bronycon?

Good thoughts. I'm headed in to an ultrasound tomorrow myself for similar, though less long-term, symptoms that just started stabbing me in the fatigue and nausea a week ago :( Weird mystery abdominal issues are the worst.
