Seeing as how in the polls, the choice of Heisei Godzilla Movie vs. Rebirth of Mothra Movie was a close pick, I decided to split the polls and we'll try and watch one of each. Thus this final session has two polls, one for each category and the winners will be streamed.

Next we got an awesome illustration by the ever talented and lovely Faith-Wolff. Fittingly considering the Xmas special took place in a comic book world, this cover is based off a real one.
Lastly, I'd like to draw some attention to the talented words some of the readership put in; namely the chapter reviewers. Thus I'll be doing this every time I post a chapter, to give the people who put in the extra mile in both entertaining and critiquing what I put out. Makes for great discussion, insight, and laughs! Hats off to you all!
At times, i can't help but admit that i dislike the popular vote.
Honestly the Showa Era seems to be getting not much love and it appears that GvKG and Destroyah are going to be a trend.
The first two Heisei films are underrated.

We saw how much trouble X had with Enjin and he was vastly stronger.
Was it because Bagan was weaker and therefore so was his aspects?

Are they brothers biologically through the old fashioned way or are they siblings by merit of originating from the same creator?
I was tempted to pick versus Biollante because it was a spy thriller like Ghidorah the Three Headed Monster.
4366881 I imagine that they share a common ancestor, like humans and apes, Des coming from an ancestor that remained quadrupedal. Or, Des is somehow spawned from KG. Since Des resembles Cretaceous Ghidorah.

I also wonder why Kaizer is a quadruped since he got his genes from KG yet he has characteristics of DG.

The four-legged thing makes me think that that could actually be the normal state of their species, and that King Ghidorah is an exceptional being.

DesGhidorah and Grand King Ghidorah are "brothers", for lack of better terms, with King Ghidorah being the older and stronger of the two. The Ghidorah duo are a cosmic enigma of unknown origin and their genetics are 'weird'. They attacked Terra together in the Cretaceous and were beaten by the first Mothra and Battra with support from Reijuu (GKG and Des weren't as powerful back then). Des was sealed inside the planet's core and his brother fled. The whole reason GKG returns to Terra in the 1990s was to because a weakened DesGhidorah was killed them a few years prior by Mothra Lea. Though the attempted avenging wasn't out of familial love but because death was an insult to GKG for one daring to kill something like himself so he came to put them back in their place.
Kaizer Ghidorah is a quadruped because of how the weird mishmash of Xilian and Ghidorah genes fused. Might be because the Xilian ancestor, like the human ancestor, was also once a quadruped. The wings are not exactly arms per say, so they sprouted independently.

Yah, Ghidorah (both of them) are just sort of those characters which I think giving a definite origin to is both distracting as it be so ancient and far removed from the Terra plot that it would have no bearing, and could risk cheapening their uniqueness if said origin was both known and could risk implying there's more of them. Sometimes things just don't need to be explained both because there'd be no point to it, logical reason to bring it up; or it can help make the threat scarier because of the less known about it.

1. A literal god
2. Another Ghidorah who had a big power boost and combat training
It took three reasonably strong kaiju with strategy to even hurt him.

Question: In the Reijuu profile, it was mentioned that KG got a super charge when he and Des battle the future god of extinction along with the first Mortha and Battra. Was this the result of a willing power transfer from Des born out of desperation to kill Reijuu or did KG forcibly take energy from his sibling?

Probably a bit of both. Wouldn't be out of character for King Ghidorah to do that, but I can't imagine DesGhidorah, while being sealed, would have any other options in mind. Would explain why Des was weakened when he emerged in the 1990s as GKG still had some of his power.
