So, I figured any Fanart for Chapter 9 would latch onto the nice and safe first half of the chapter, where Cloud Kicker is making little bunny-shaped clouds for Fluttershy or they're at the start of their cute little teenage romance (before it all goes horribly wrong).
Instead, InuHoshi opted to put the single bleakest pit-of-despair moment of the entire chapter into art, and it is absolutely incredible.

Okay. That is horrible. However, I am happy darkpen only showed ck instead of them all. I couldn't handle more sadness than just this.
Damn, that is awesome. It really captures the emotions beautifully which is very impressive given how powerful that scene was.

Bunnies are fricking hard to draw. And the second half of that chapter was so visceral I couldn't remember the other stuff that happened well enough after reading it to consider drawing them. And then I didn't want to draw injured ponies cuz I suck at that. Nothing from me this chapter sorreh.

This piece of art really rams home to heartbreak of the latest chapter. Nopony came out of that one a winner. Not at all. One of the saddest chapters of any stories I have ever read.

Wow.
This one piece of art sums up the chapter, and how I think we all felt after reading it: Like we'd been pummeled, instead of Cloud. I have to admit I'm a little shell-shocked at seeing what Cloud looked like from another POV, instead only glimpses from hers. It really, literally hits home.
Fantastic work, art and story. They must continue.

370401ah. okay then. it makes a whole lot more sense. However I am extremely happy no one has drawn rainbowdash because if they did, i would have to break into the stables near my house and hug as many horses and ponies as possible for the sadness it would convey.
