Synopsis: All mothers love their children, and all mothers feed their children. Princess Chrysalis and her mother are no different, except that to a changeling, "love" and "food" are the same thing. Well... mostly.
Welcome to the nineteenth episode of our podcast investigating the world of pony fanfics! Them's Writin' Words brings together a group of dramatic readers, voice actors and artists from the MLP fandom to discuss and review a fanfiction chosen by one of us to discuss for your listening pleasure.
Starryflame has watched for years as other bronies take the spotlight again and again on April 1st. This year she is determined to have her moment to shine - if only the other fanfic readers, voice actors and artists of the brony community would let her! When obstacle after obstacle is placed in her way, is she willing to do whatever dark deed and evil magic is necessary to take her rightful
When Starlight Glimmer and Sunburst got married and had a foal, all their friends were elated and doted on the very first foal among them: Luster Dawn. As the little filly grew up, however, she started to realise that being the daughter of two of the most famous ponies in Equestria, and 'niece' of six others, including the Princess of Friendship herself, comes with a LOT of expectations, pressure
I'm sorry to hear that you experienced a series of terrible, tragic events in such quick succession. I understand why you made the decisions you made and how depressing it can feel. I'll see if I can help out in any way, and I hope that you're able to find work in the near future.
Thank you for sharing all this with us, Scribbler. It takes a lot of moxie to tell folks about your personal life but remember that it does help to talk about things and air them out, as it were. You've been through a ton of life changing events lately and I just like to say for all of us that we are here for you. I've followed you for a while now and you are truly a big part of our fandom. It may take me a bit but I'll help as much as I can. It might not be much but I hope it will help. Take care and take care of yourself first.
I'm so sorry to hear this. I've had to hold both my parents, my father last year, my mother 6 years passed, in my arms as they past. I had cared for them and lost much of my teenage and college years to caring for them when they themselves self destructed and we're too stubborn to let me help. I understand this situation all to well. I know we live on too different continents, I'm from Texas CST, I can't not reach out to talk. My skype is darthsylar12, my phone 469 222 9710 , if you need someone to talk too, to scream at, a shoulder to cry on, I'm here. The only way I made it through was through the support of my friends and if this fandom still ascribes to the beliefs of the show, then I am more than willing to be your friend in this time. I will pray for you and family, offering not only love but also asking for any support. May peace be with Scribbler, and know that you are loved.
The fact that you could get fired from your job for what you do in your free time online is fucking terrifying to me. Thankfully whoever you worked for at the time were decent enough to not ruin your career over something so irrelevant.
Anyways, sorry to hear you're having to trudge through all this shit. Things will get better if you keep your chin up--eventually. Godspeed.
Myself along with others are very sorry to hear that. I will try to spread the word as much as possible.
I understand what it's like to be at the edge. Mine might have been based on different reasons, but i felt really terrible about it. We need to support each other as much as we can.
We care about you Obab. Hang in there, we will help you out.
Life sure knows how to kick good people where it huts. Sorry that all of this has happened to you *Hugs* . Hope that things get better soon, you get a job you like and that you are laughing uncontrollably from the amount on you patron by the end of the month.
Very sorry to hear this! As others have said, I'm also glad you're pulling through. I know how hard life can kick you at times and how staggering it can be to get back on track. Obviously I don't know what you do for a living, but I know plenty of professors in a certain university in London—if that's anywhere close to you—that could possibly help you get some work there, if that appeals to you. Other than that, I do hope you find something new you love soon. Best of luck, Scribbler.

I'm sorry to hear that all of this has happened to you. I'm not sure if it helps, but I'm rooting for you.

I'm sorry stuff went so badly for you. Work getting that bad, combined with all the other stress, is certainly not good times.
I'm glad you managed to get yourself out of that situation, though. Good luck with your future employment stuff!
I'll shoot you a few dollars when I have time to reset my password on there.
*Hugs*
I wish you the best of luck in the future Scribbler. You've been an inspiration to us, and always remember: You're not alone. Take care.
