Y'know, for claiming to be back on "daily" fics, I don't really upload daily all that much, do I?
Still, I am keeping true to my promise... kinda sorta--by doing double updates after or before the days I miss.
And why do I miss days? Probably because of one of three reasons.
1) I'm exhausted from a day at work
2) I'm mulling the coming apocalypse in 2017
3) I'm working on a commission fic, and so I'm using the entire "day off" for that.
Today is an example of number three. I find it easier to tackle commission stories for patrons when I'm not also doing the dailies. This is the sort of thing that produced the likes of which you've likely seen today. Or, if you haven't seen it, go check it out. I'm actually kind of sorta proud of it, and you've got Kihutaja to blame for its inception (well, actually, he just requested "the Pie sisters" / I was sitting on a park bench, contemplating, and then my brain stumbled upon the story title "As I Lay Smiling" and I laughed out loud for several awkward seconds).
Today, I worked on another commission fic, and assuming the patron is cool with it, then I look forward to sharing it as well with the marsupial alumni, proving that I actually do valuable stuff these days aside from pocket-healing Roadhog.
And as for Appledashery, "Volume One" (as I'm choosing to call it) is nearing an end. Soon, I'll be tackling the transition into Chapter Two. God help us all.
