On a related note: I'm not getting out to go shopping today for various reasons, so I won't have this one today. I expect to pick it up later in the week. I''ll post a blog commenting on extras and deleted scenes and stuff as soon as I do have it.

Last time, with Rainbow Rocks, there was misinformation from Shout Factory and Hasbro about the release date of the BD. They never INTENDED to release same day as DVD, but the promotional materials all said both would come out on October 28. In reality, the BD came out two weeks later. They could have told everyone this from the beginning and avoided a lot of frustration and disappointment from people who wanted it on BD.

THIS time, after ALL THAT frustration LAST TIME, they did the same thing again, saying they'd both release on October 13. According to Best Buy, the BD is backordered until November 12.

Someone at Shout Factory needs a boot upside the skull.

Side-note: If anyone wants a digital copy and can live without the deleted scenes (thank the mighty fausticorn for YouTube) then they can head over to VuDu.com and buy all three movies bundled together in HDX (1080p) for only $23, with tax added in the end.
