Lol this season is getting a lot of Rarity and Rainbow Dash. RD got her own song and episode and now Rarity is getting like two or three episodes including the next few coming up. This season is great.

I liked this episode. There wasn't a ton to it, but it was still nice. Added a lot of new potential for fanfiction stories.

Not bad. I appreciate that Sassy was in no way actually evil, just a bit too narrow sighted in terms of her marketing plan. I'm also really glad they didn't reset the board and just put Rarity back in Ponyville with no Canterlot boutique for the next episode.

I was afraid for a couple minutes at about the 2/3s mark that the writers really were going to close the Canterlot branch down, reverting Rarity's business back to the status quo.
Glad to see they didn't.

Well that was fast.
This episode was pretty thoroughly mediocre. It had some character advancement for Rarity - and totally Jossed the idea of her moving away for fashion - but while the central conflict was decent enough, unfortunately the episode as a whole was lacking that special something.
You know, clever dialogue. Sassy Saddles was an okay character, but unremarkable and kind of flat, and there was a dearth of clever dialogue between her and Rarity - and that was a bit of a problem, seeing as they were basically the only two ponies in the episode. While the customers at the end were mildly amusing, they weren't enough to carry the episode, and on the whole, the episode was very workmanlike - it got through the plot but it didn't really sparkle with the clever wit that carried episodes like Suited for Success.

Well son, it's a Rarity episode, so... yeah.
That pony at the end though. She needs to go on adventures, a couple of times.
It was pretty good. Could've used some more interaction between Sassy and Rarity, but it had enough good things to keep me entertained (like the song and funny side characters).
Also, Bring Emo Pony and Landwhale Pony back in future episodes!

This episode was good and had some good character development on the part of Rarity. However, I feel that that Sassy Sandals was just annoying. I get what they were going for, but she is just a mediocre character that I doubt will ever show up again. She's just bland and rather boring.
Granted not as boring as Suri Polomare though.The song by Rarity was good, as usual, and it's nice to see Rarity's business is expanding further out.Also, die hard Luna fans won't be happy since the poll in Canterlot shows that Twilight is best princess apparently. Did anyone else catch that?
I'm really looking forward to the Rarity and Rainbow Dash episode next week.
