Hey everypony! Yeah I realize most of you think the story is on hiatus or dead, but good news its not! I just recently started college and have been very busy. Now the next chapter has been a slow grind, literally, but that was because I had a hard time trying to figure out how to top the last chapter. Yes, that chapter was suppose to be that dark. Anyway after several rewrites I finally have a concept I'm sure you will like. But as I thought up different ways for the chapter I started to think how I wanted the story to end. With things in my life have drastically different from how the story started its started to make me think how I wanted everything to end. So I decided to ask you guys how you think the story should end. What I mean by that is who do you think Spike should ends up with. I realize most of you have very very different opinions on who you think so I'm going to give you some options. Rarity, Scootaloo, Moondancer, or Diamond Tiara (No this is not a joke........okay yeah kinda I just want to know who would.) This will not really change the outcome of the story but I figured why not. Besides if enough people want me to I could do some alternate endings.
“The same as you,” replied Queen Rarity as she stood over the ashes of her only companion.
Nopony dared to say anything, not even breath. Rarity stood mouth open at the sight, still in shock of both Spike death and her alternate self. Discord’s ears began to blow streams of black smoke as he tried to comprehend what was happening.
“Don’t move,” whispered Discord as he cleared the smoke from his ears. “She responds to movement.”
“But…..but...she spoke!” said Rarity in a frightened whisper, eyes still fixed on her other self, who was still facing away from her. “I thought you said she could not see or hear us.”
“I know what I said, but maybe----”
“I was aware of you presens the moment the two of you arrived,” interrupted Queen Rarity as she turned the face the unicorn and draconequus. “My my it been so long since I’ve seen my younger self.”

It has been a good long trip with this fic. And perhaps I am cliche and boring when I type this, but I gotta be honest with at least myself. Rarity is my favored pairing with Spike. There has been ample character growth in this work with Rarity, and even when it all stops I feel there will be more room to grow. Gets my imagination all fired up and what-not. So yeah, Sparity!

Seriously, it's no competition. I mean we've gone on this long journey with her, it would be sad is she doesn't get with him.
With everything they've gone through, I think Rarity deserves a chance for her Spikey
After reading this story my opinion about this ship has still not changed (I really dislike the ship
) but considering that rarity's seen all that he's gone through and what he would do for her I say she deserves a chance. Even though I think spike should move on but whatever it will still be a great story anyway you write
