I've posted a very late chapter for 'I Can't Stop!' Sorry about that >.< The lateness, mind you.
Aaand the news gets worse. This is pretty last minute due to my heading out for college tomorrow. I know not when things will calm down a little and I can hopefully write some. All I can say is boy do I ever feel like a guilty jerk for not writing like a maniac this last year.
Still! I want to reassure everyone waiting for updates to my stories : My Little Marriage, A Twilight Landing, Thunderstruck, So Many Wonders, Contrail, Abhorsen and the others, that I will finish them. Probably before MLP stops airing even, heh. But seriously, short of death I don't intend to get tired of ponies or my stories.
So, with that, I leave you this update and the end of 'I Can't Stop', with a little short epilogue to follow it. I'll keep in touch guys! But ciao for now.

Don't write pony notes in class! Take the total dollars that you pay per class, divide by the number of hours, and figure that you are paying the teacher that amount per hour to teach you. It will improve your focus immensely, but it can annoy the teacher if you treat him/her as an employee instead of a High Teacher of Wisdom Upon The Throne of Knowledge.
College sucks. No two ways about it. You may find that writing fiction is your only escape from the drudgery of academia, I know that's how it is for me.
At the rate MLP's going, you might still die first.

3349857 From the number of grad students I've had teaching classes, I can totally grok it. College is a study of intense logical contradictions. For example: Football brings in huge dollars to our university, which is why we need the students to all pay a massive fee to build a new stadium that won't get done until after they graduate. The Professors are too busy doing research to teach your class, because research draws money into the university to support the professor who isn't teaching your class, which is supposedly what he was hired to do in the first place. Universities are a beacon of free speech, which is why there is a little 8x10 foot area roped off by an obscure section of campus where anybody can go and declare their free speech to an empty field. If you attempt to speak freely on campus, somebody will be offended and their right not to be offended (which is mentioned nowhere in the law) trumps your right to speak your mind (which is⁽¹⁾).
Then we get into gender/race/class/sexual orentation speech, and it takes a calculator to figure out who is permitted to say what before being subjected to the wrath of the Legions of Perpetual Outrage. And that's without the legal morass which is Title IX.

3349956 All of my favorite professors got into fights with the administrators on a weekly basis. It's not that fighting the pencil pushers actually helped me, it's just that the teachers who teach have to neglect the temple of academia.
It's good to hear your commitment despite your school stuff. I hope said school stuff goes well.
