A good story isn't measured by how long it is, but by how long it stays with you.

Bronycon and a Major Update on Important Stuff and Things · 10:04pm Aug 11th, 2015

Hey, guys!

Just got back from Bronycon, and man was it a blast! I’ve got a whole bunch of pictures to share, but also a few important announcements regarding future writing. If you’re already sick of Bronycon blog posts flooding your feed, feel free to skip down to the bottom. Otherwise, here’s a summary of my experience:

Left on the driver's side door of my car at the South Somerset Rest Station in Pennsylvania. (They saw Wanderer D's giant We Love Fine bag in the back seat.) This is how you know the weekend will be awesome. I seriously want to know who left it there. It absolutely made my day.

One of many giant stickers running the length of the convention center sidewalk.

Little Big Mac!

And I’m official!

Nice hotel room view.

Pascoite was passing out baggies of pascoite to other authors. Cool stuff!

Twilight’s all grown up!

The convention line that I didn’t have to stand in because I was cool and pre-registered on Thursday. You’re welcome for being a good friend, Csquared!

One of many, many fursuit cosplayers

I’m strangely okay with this...

I just… Holy crap, 2600 pieces!?

Professor Plum getting his dapper on.

Best cosplay 2015.

Buttons! Oh my god, look at that face. She’s so fucking adorable I'm gonna die!

'Prettiest pony!' an Andy Price commission sketch.

A gift from Burraku_Pansa. That guy is just too generous.

I had to do a double take when I saw this. I didn’t believe my eyes at first, but once I did I had never thrown $11 at someone faster. I’ll say I’m severely disappointed it was part of a collection being sold on behalf of the artists, so I didn’t get to meet Ventious, but this is still the highlight of my vendor hall experience.

Now, on to the other announcements. Or, announcement—it’s a two-for, really.

Do you all know Neighrator Pony? Because you should. His audiobook quality is up there with Scribbler and Illya Leonov. I mean, just listen to this.

Well, this fine gentleman contacted me last week, curious if I would let him work his magic on Transcendence. This sums up my response, and so we have decided to team up. He will be releasing his audiobook chapters episodically, simultaneously with this:

September 4th. Mark your calendars.

Gah, I knew I forgot someone! You lurked too hard, that's why I forgot. :twilightblush:

Fixed.

Then I'm doing my job right.

Funny, too, as this time I tried to actually have a conversation with more than a select group.

Spotted that print, immediately thought of you, immediately forgot to remind you it was for sale. Glad you managed to pick one up!

You, too! It's always great putting faces to names. I loved the top hat.
