Even Trixie has to do real work every now and then.

In light of my current workload, I've decided that until I'm back on my feet I will only work on one story at a time. No more contests, no more side stories, just the one. For now, that story will be Order of Shadows. It's not an easy decision to make, but seeing also of how I'm barely keeping up as it is, it's a necessary one. Time will tell if I will also reduce my reviews, although ATM I don't think it will be necessary.

In the meantime, I am pleased to announce that One Night at Fluttershy's tied for third place in Skeeter the Lurker's Switcheroo Contest! It was a fun little entry and I'm glad to have competed. It makes me kinda sad that I won't be entering anymore contests. My congratulations to FanOfMostEverything for coming in first.

And now I've got a lot of things that need doing today, so I'm gonna leave it at that. The next chapter of Order of Shadows will release later today!

Good luck with all your work!

Tight competition at the top! I genuinely thought One Night was going to beat mine. It was certainly good enough to.

And I hear you about tight scheduling. Never fun to pick and choose which of your darlings to kill. I'd say that I hope you have the time to sneak a Writeoff or two into your schedule, but I know how much of an extra commitment the reading and reviewing can be. Hopefully Order progresses quickly.

I haven't killed any of my darlings – you have to actually start writing on them for that to happen. No, they're just on the backburner for now.

And Order certainly will not progress quickly. Even updating on a weekly basis, I've only completed the first of a minimum of eight parts. It's going to take forever, which is part of the reason I'm hoping to get a different job that isn't so absurdly demanding of my time.

Time, perhaps one of the most valuable commodities we have. We understand though, you gotta do what you gotta do! I should be starting on Order soon. Gotta catch up on my reading which I have been neglecting for awhile.
