One pony. One trip. One way.
For Stellar Lights, time is running out. A strange sickness has ingrained itself within her body, and even the great New Everfree College hasn't a clue as to curing it. Her family is wonderful and loving, but Stella certainly isn't blind --- she can see the distant truth in her husband's eyes and her daughter's hugs --- and she can't bear it any longer.
So when the enigmatic Princess Twilight offer her an alternative, Stella takes a gamble that will send her to the edges of the known universe and beyond in search of Equestria's long-lost rulers; Luna and Celestia.
The end she isn't worried about. The journey is all that's left.
