Greetings my fellow bronies from around the world and I hope you had a very fun Thanksgiving and that you are not currently being crushed by thousands in your nearby mall. Since everybody is having sales, might as well do an adoption blog to compensate. Just no rushing like a bunch of mad people and killing the smaller and weaker folks.
If this is your first time reading my blog and/or Adoption post allow me to quickly explain. I have tons of ideas I get for MLP fanfiction, I can't just write them because I can't type 100,000 words a minute. A few adoptions have gone through and even been published by the time of this blog. There is nothing wrong with taking an idea from somebody and giving your own twist on it, provided you acknowledge the idea came from somewhere else.
Before we go to our adoption list this time, there is a previous adoption that is open again:
Your Destiny Is My Death
Idea Premise: Why exactly did Twilight become an alicorn anyway? To replace her mentor? To control some celestial body in space? To become ruler of her own land. To Twilight’s horror, it’s none of those things. Her destiny is to end the burden of Luna and Celestia, but at the cost of their lives.
-One theory about this whole “Moon” and “Sun” moving this has been about Discord doing it a while ago to cause chaos. Why doesn’t he fix it now? Because being in stone and being hit with Elements twice has caused his powers to dwindle a lot. Kind of explains why he didn’t unleash unearthly horrors at the mane 6. However, Celestia and Luna had both searched for a way to restore the rotation of both the moon and the sun and have found their answer in Twilight.
-However, it’s soon learned that if Twilight does this, the magical connection between Luna and Celestia will be lost, resulting in their deaths. This gives Twilight a horrible choice. She could refuse to do this, leaving Celestia and Luna to continue their burden, which both explains they wish not to hold anymore, and hope they find another worthy pony in the future. Or she could end their suffering, but the pain of losing them would be great. It’s an idea that challenges immortality and morality as well. Which is the right thing to do or is there such a thing in this case? What are the aftermaths of both choices? If you’re into moral debating choices, I recommend writing this one.

Anyway, let's get started:
1. Title: “A Second Chance At Love” (Adopted by SkyFall104)
Summery: 300 years have past since Shining Armor's death during the changeling wars. Cadance has yet to remarry despite already having a son from her previous marriage. One day, while visiting her husband's tomb, she is met with Sir Spike, Knight and Hero of both the Crystal Empire and Equestria. He came here to honor Shining Armor, his comrade, while telling Cadance that tTwilight has found husband number four, a changeling (peace was made). As Spike hangs out more and more with Cadance, she starts to feel a familiar flame burning in her heart. Love.
-If I wasn’t so busy myself, I would do this one. This idea has pretty much never been done, but I had to make it so it could happen. Cadance lost Shining Armor in a war with the changelings around 300 years ago. They had a son, also an alicorn, and she’s lived her life without a second husband while Twilight, Luna, and Celestia have had multiple ones. However, Spike comes to visit and, as they hang out more, Spike and Cadance start to get feelings for one another.
-Cadance is conflicted because she really loved Shining Armor and doesn’t want to dishonor his memory by falling in love with another. Spike is also dealing with his own problems because there are tensions between the Dragon Kingdom and Equestria and one of the possible ways to bring peace is if he marries the princess of the kingdom.
-Anythng else is up to you.
2. Title: “A Mother Returns” (Adopted by The Myth)
Summery: “For years, Spike wondered about his birth parents. Turns out his mother was looking for him as well. Spike's mother arrives, happy to learn her son is alive and well. Spike is overwhelmed with emotion but soon comes to enjoy having his real mother. Twilight and her friends are happy, but as Spike and his mother spend more time together they begin to realize that Spike will have to leave with her at some point. They know it's the right thing to let him go, but can they let him go in their hearts? Especially the one who raised him since he was born?"
-This might have been done before, but the idea is pretty simple. Spike’s mother finally finds him after so many years of looking for him. Spike is nervous meeting his mother, but they soon get along quite well and he learns about dragons, his family, and so on. The girls are happy to have Spike finally have his real family, but over time they soon begin to wonder if Spike will leav them for good.
-If the writer wants to make a romance with Rarity or Sweetie Belle or Twilight or whoever with Spike, that’s your call. However, Twilight’s main problem is the fact that she raised Spike all her life and now she’s letting him go. It’s obviously going to be a big thing for Twilght and Spike to deal with and may raise some tenshion.
-As for Spike’s mother, well, her personality is up to you, but she’s a mother first and formost. Also, Spike can leave or stay, up to you.
3. “Fluttershy, Child of Villains”
Summary: “Fluttershy reveals that her parents are coming over, but this is bad news. Turns out her parents are actually evil ponies who are wanted all over the world. She’s written about how she’s taken over Ponyville, enslaved everypony, and does daily horrible deeds. If her parents find out she hasn’t done all of this they’ll take over Ponyville themselves. So the entire town has to now pretend that Fluttershy is their supreme overlord who can kill them with but a stare as her parents stay for a few days.”
-This has been done in various cartoons before, where the good guy has an evil friend, family, or whatnot and they have to pretend to be evil to fool them. Same case with Fluttershy, turns out her parents are evil beings who are wanted and are very powerful. But they love their daughter very much.
-In order to make them proud, and keep them from visiting, she sends lies in letters about she is the ruler of her own town and everypony obeys her or else face punishment. Naturally, the parents are coming over to visit and say hello to their daughter to see how things are doing. In order to keep her lie real and make sure Ponyvlle doesn’t get concurred for real, she has everypony in Ponyville pretend to be her slaves under her rule. Pinkie Pie is her court jester. Rainbow Dash runs her military force. Twilight Sparkle is her captive. Spike is her personal slave. Applejack is head of running the slaves. And Rarity is her evil archmage.
-Naturally, the façade is exposed and the parents learn to love Fluttershy despite her choosing to be good. However, please go hilariously with this one.
4. “The Last Pony”
Summary: “Twilight Sparkle is the last pony in Equestria. The changelings have taken over and sucked all her kind dry until nothing was left. She killed their queen for retaliation and now they have her surrounded. She knows death is near, but she will take as many down with her before she meets her end. She will make them remember The Last Pony.”
-The summary is self-explanatory and is a One Shot. Twilight kills Queen Chrysalis for leading to the end of ponies and now is surrounded by every changeling who wants to kill her. Twilight isn’t going to escape this alive, but she will bring down as many of them as possible.
-There is also a much darker ending for this, that I’ll offer to the one who does adoption.
5. “Sunny Apples”
Summery: “After the Dazzlers were kicked out of town, everyone learned that Sunset Shimmer helped saved them and now she’s trusted among them once again. Applejack, who has always been there for her, is glad to see her friend happy once again and slowly becoming popular for the right reasons. However, there is something else that has been bothering her ever since Sunset joined their crew. It’s only grown more with each day and upon seeing Sunset in a bikini during spring break she finally realizes what’s up.
She’s fallen in love with Sunset.”
-In this Equestria Girls story, Applejack is in love with Sunset but doesn’t know how to tell her. She gathers her friends, minus Sunset, to try and help her. The story tells various ways they try to get Applejack to confess to Sunset and in the end, after many trials, succeed.
6. “Your Time Is Over” (Autumn Breeze)
Summery: “The Mane Six has faced endless enemies from Nightmare Moon to Trek and always come up on top. When they are sent to face a new enemy, they assumed they would win like always.
But they didn’t. They died. All of them.
Upon waking up after their deaths, they find themselves at the gates of Paradise, where an angel is ready into letting them in. To his shock, they don’t want to go in. They need to head back to save their homes, stop evil, and see their families. They are the good guys, they don’t die.
The angel tells them their time is over, and decides to ease their fears by showing what the future will hold.”
-This can be one shot or multi-chapter. Basically, the mane six face some kind of evil, only instead of beating it they are killed. When they wake up they find out they're going to head to the afterlife, but don't want to leave their world to face whatever evil because they were the only ones who could do it. Whoever is guiding them, has them enter the afterlife and after a tour they go to a pool which shows them the future.
- While they had failed to save the world, another group of ponies managed to succeed where they failed, while also looking at the future of their loved ones having to deal with their deaths and the aftermath. And they learn that while good may die at times, it never dies forever. That some pony will always be there to right the wrong. The six accept this and prepare their new eternal lives in paradise.
7. “What Love Lies Sleeping” (adopted by Snails)
Summary: “Instead of making the Crystal Empire disappear upon his defeat, Sombra casts a dark spell on Princess Luna that sends her into a deep sleep like death. Learning only true loves kiss can end the spell, Celestia spent years trying to find the one true love of her sister, promising whoever can wake her can have her hoof in marriage. However, nopony is able to do this, making Celestia bitter and cold. As a result, Equestria changes into a different timeline with Equestra taking over lands with force and domination rather than love and harmony, which Celesita has lost faith in.
1000 years later, a changeling thief with a kind heart is trying to feed his friends when he gets the idea of robbing the castle during the yearly mourning for Princess Luna. While there, he finds the chamber where Princess Luna is held and is overtaken by her beauty and kisses her. Celestia and her guards find him and are planning to take him away when Luna wakes up.
“Good morning, Sister.”
-In this AU, Luna was put into a deathlike sleep ala Sleeping Beauty. Celestia tries to find the one true love that will wake Luna up, but doesn’t and becomes bitter, believing that true love doesn’t exist. This change her and makes her become colder and seeks to bring harmony with force rather than love. A thousand years past an Equestria are the dominant race while all others are secondary if lucky. As for the mane six, whatever you want with them in this dystopia.
-A changeling thief manages to seek into the palace after the yearly mourning event for Princess Luna. He only steals to survive and help those who are also poor, kind of like Robin Hood and Aladdin mixed. When he enters the chambers, he kisses Luna, overwhelmed by her beauty, and wakes her up. Because she has no choice, Celestia let’s the changeling marry Luna who is overwhelmed with waking up after a thousand years.
-Luna is horrified by what Celestia has done and vows to change things so the original dream they had comes true and her changeling husband helps her. However, overtime, Celestia becomes paranoid and fears that Luna is under the changelings control and tries to have him killed. Luna and her husband flee and try to end this reign.

So many good ideas, so little time… I don't think I can claim any of these just yet (especially since these all seem like they deserve/need to be longer than I can focus for). But I would definitely read 1. 3 would be hilarious if done right.
I kindof like four. Is the darker ending that since all the ponies have died, the changelings are all going to starve to death?
