They shouldn't have done it in the first place mind, I mean clearly their first email stating they reviewed it was a lie!
I forget, did you ever hear back about the 'Angels' dub? I'm willing to bet it was the same crap as this, some whino flagging simply because they didn't like the pairing and youtube's process being implemented for maximum laziness and inattentiveness.

I agree, have you submitted appeal for Angels? You might get similar result or at least they will confirm your assumptions and you will know where ice gets thinner.
Also is there some way in which us as viewers can submit similar appeal? If it helped DRWolf, it might help you too to get into good standing once again.

not to defend YouTube, because there has been nothing apart from the almost-gore in biblical monsters that hasn't been in commercials on prime-time family TV,
but it wouldn't have been lying so much as two different people reviewing the case with the first one being oversensetive in their reading of the standards
I am very glad for the reinstatement because, Scribbler, you have a perfect sense of timing as a narrator and are wonderfully supportive of other readers (I didn't even notice how smooth your readings go until I listened to some of the others that you have voiced characters for and promoted)

Yes, but I struggle to see anyone finding any problem in the first video then, unless they are a complete puritan who hates horses.

that is very possible, but the thing about prejudices is that you usually don't recognize them as prejudices. It is very likely that they truly believed that it violated youtube's standards and may not have even realized their hatred for pastel ponies was influencing their verdict. Hopefully, there are procedures in place to deal with people who are overenthusiastic in their takedowns
but then again, I think the real fix would be finding and supporting a competitor that will keep youtube focused on what its subscribers want
I'll say, 'Booyah!' Congrats, I'm really glad to hear that at least someone at YouTube knows what they're doing and isn't just listening to the robot overlords. Now I'm gonna go listen to some Pony Tales as read by Scribbler.
I'm really happy now... We should have a Party! Or several parties considering all the corners of the planet we are from... So I'm gonna go to my employee's meeting this morning, then buy something fun... like cupcakes! Or muffins... or something... but there will be celebrations.
At least this rigamarole proves that sometimes, all it takes is a level-headed reply to sort things out. :B
