The Myth passed away earlier this year.
He wrote Longing, a pivotal story that introduced me to fanfiction, my love of Twispike, and reading. I've read it countlessly and endlessly as it always sparks special feelings inside me.
And it also inspired me to write.
The Myth and I spoke during the fandom's early days. I'd gifted him FF 8, and we played a bit together. We never talked much after that—but remained aware of each other.
It's sad to see another gone.

I followed The Myth since I joined the fandom and started reading here. I didn't know him well, but enjoyed his work. I understand, B.
Hope you're doing well and taking care. Remember that I'm here and still reading your blogs.
Longing was one of the many gateway stories that got me hooked on Twilight and Spike's relationship myself, and finishing the rest of its series has consistently been on my to-do list. I was stunned and saddened to hear of his passing, especially so far before his time and so soon after that of his co-author. It's a terrible loss. He will be missed.
