Fear not friends, the only ship I jumped with this episode is the "Merriweather Williams Can't Write Rainbow Dash" one.
So, I liked this episode. Wasn't as good as last week's, but it was definitely better than I expected. With these last two weeks, Rarity better watch out; Rainbow Dash and her are neck and neck for the "Best Pony" crown.
My only problem was that Spitfire got a bit annoying after a couple of scenes, but it was still a good episode. The ending also seemed a bit abrupt—I'm not sure if I'm the only one there.
Overall, I'll give it 4 Lyras out of 5.
(also, brace yourselves... the second renaissance of PinkieDash is coming).
Thunderity, writers, get to it.
The more PinkieDash the better, I say! Bring it on!
And has Rarity found her prince at last? Hmmmm...
Thundarity, I like it.
It was a good episode. Apart from not being too fond of that first two-parter, it's been a very good season so far. Usually these episodes are much more hit-or-miss with me than they have been this year.
The ending seemed like we needed more, but as long as they wrap this story thread up in future episodes I'll be fine.
More Pinkie Dash is a good good thing. I shall soon have my fill.

Hm... nah. Not too abrupt. I mean a little, but I didn't think it was jarring.

Loved it! But I'll just say that for every episode. I agree on the ending, I kept eyeing the time remaining expecting something more a conclusion. And RD didn't actually become a Wonderbolt, did she? She passed a section of an exam and got to be leader of a group of trainees. Maybe it'll be a prolonged training and we'll updates as the show goes on.
It had a sad ending.

Haven´t see it yet.
No offense to the current voice actress, but I much prefered Spitfire's old voice. And I'm a bit saddened they didn't make Spitfire recognise Dash at all, despite her having saved the Wonderbolt's lives.
Other than that, I enjoyed it. I'm just waiting on the wave of Rainbow Pie fics, assuming they come.
Really? I'm the only one who sees Rainbowdust shipping in our future?
I dunno, I really liked this one... maybe it has something to do with my bias towards the whole "Top Gun" Military Jet Fighter school kinda thing...
I thought it was pretty decent. Merriwether Williams has obviously taken notes from her failure with MDW, and did much better with Dash this time around. I'm also apparantly in the minority that had no problem with Spitfire ignoring her past interactions with Dash. Before she was an entertainer talking to a fan; now she's a team captain talking to a new recruit, and giving Dash any kind of special treatment would've been unprofessional and unfair to the other recruits.
But more importantly, there's probably an incoming tsunami of PinkieDash stuff. This is a good thing. += Best Ship.
Oh, and Thundity, DashFire and RainDust. But those are lesser ships.

Fully agree with you here, friend. Honestly, I just found Spitfire's voice kinda annoying—the way her character acted seemed appropriate for the situation.
I have missed the crazy PinkieDash fics that were everywhere when I first came into the fandom. Hopefully we get some more quality ones—though the RariDash fan in me is sitting on the couch, staring at the TV going. "Can't I have something? Anything?"
If this proves anything, it's that Dash is not that enamored of Pinkie Pie. A one-sided hug does not in any way, shape, or form imply grounds for a romance. You go Rarity.
Cloud Chaser x Fluttershy? Anyone?
