Its the dream that every brony asks for, to visit Equestria and the ponies that have grown close to their hearts. As an author I try to make that world through words but even I find that isn't enough and fall into a depression. A quick walk in the woods changes all that for me as I find myself in Ponyville!

At the heart of Ponyville lies a crossroads. Years ago, before the Friendship Express was established, the intersection would be the resting point for many a weary traveller. These wanderers would sit and stay a spell, peddling wares and exchanging news with the ponies of Ponyville. Though the railroad’s rise led to the fall of carriage-travel and no ponies needed use the Crossroads Station, it never fell into disuse. The new travellers who stopped there came from further afield and had much stranger tales to tell: those of their deaths.

Four humans and a pegasus suddenly appear at the Crossroads Station, joining its previous denizens as they try to escape from limbo and find a new unlife.

Limbo is a plane of existence that has existed in some form or another in most human cultures and many religions, in this instance, Ponyville. It is that dreaded place where souls sit and wait to be judged by their God or deities. It is here that several ponies must find their way to the own destinies, while dragons rained down from the sky.

The results of an extraordinary experiment where seven confused (and some inebriated or high) writers got together to write a story!

Twilight doesn’t believe in curses but all that changes when her estranged uncle leaves in her possession the ancient slab of Akhal-Teke Ramses the Late. All seems normal until late that night when a ghostly figure demands the tablet’s return or suffer its curse.

Instead of being killed in the cold Antarctic by Dr. Manhattan, Rorschach finds himself rematerialized in a strange new, pony filled world. He finds himself drawn into the lives of the ponies of Ponyville but some ponies fear that this sociopath will bring danger and darkness to an otherwise peaceful existence. Will the mane 6 help Walter Kovac find peace within himself or will he bring them all down with him in his cold views of reality and existence?

Before the rule of Princess Celestia and before Discord plagued the land, ponies lived peacefully with the true natives of Equestria, dragons. Few remember though the space of time between the settling of Equestria to the rule of Discord. What happened in this period of time? Why did the dragons disappear? And how did the Elements of Harmony come to be?

It is only by accident though that thousands of years later after the events of this time that three little fillies are the ones to discover that the legend of the dragons still continue after all these centuries and that all ponies have had a great protector all these years that has shielded them from true hardships and dangers.

Soon though a new threat will rise from the ashes of a great and forgotten mountain intent on plunging Equestria into darkness. With breath of fire, on wings of hatred, and the will to conquer and dominate an ancient foe will fly again. It will stop at nothing to have its revenge on all ponies and cover the land in a shadow of smoke and ash. Can the powers of harmony, peace, and friendship defeat this new foe or will there be a new ruler of Equestria.

(My first ever MLP fan fiction and actually my first ever published story. Hopefully it isn't too terrible but hopefully it helps me practice my writing. Anyway I tried my best to keep with the original Friendship is Magic universe and mood. What I hope to do is give a reason for why bad things don't happen in Ponyville, in other words why there is never any famine, conflict, or death. Expect this really to be a feel-good story, just something for a light read to go along with your day. It may get emotion later on but read and decide for yourself. Depending on how the story goes I might take liberties by perhaps hinting at romance and going on into tragedy. Don't expect a dark, sad, or very original story though, I do plan to keep original characters to a minimum.
