First of all, I blame Pegasus Rescue Brigade. For everything. Because it's all his fault.
Also, this story takes place after "Twilight Time" but during "Filli Vanilli." There's times when the chronological order of episodes clearly isn't the airing order (for example, we now know that "Hearth's Warming Eve" has to happen before "Winter Wrap-Up" unless Equestria has multiple winters per year), so I figure I can get away with this. Just roll with it, alright? I promise it's not the biggest problem with this story.

When Sweetie Belle overhears a rumor that Lyra and Bon-Bon are on the verge of breaking up, she's shocked. They've been Ponyville's best-known couple for as long as she can remember, and after all the romantic notions she's picked up from her older sister, she just can't comprehend that changing. Fortunately, she's got a friend who can mix potions and a plan. What could go wrong?

This story is a sequel to Princess's Descendant

From the people who brought you "Princess's Descendant" and "Irresponsible Princesses II: Live Free or Princess Harder Another Day" comes the much-anticipated sequel that has the public indifferent and critics asking how I got their phone numbers! Marvel as the princesses try to become a rock band! Laugh as they blow everything completely out of proportion! And whatever you do, don't think too hard about what the level of technology is even supposed to be.

Yes, this is nominally a sequel to "Princess's Descendant." It uses the same versions of past Celestia and Luna, but really it's purely optional to read that first. I'm sure you'll figure it out either way.
On the other hand, it is strongly recommended that you read "Irresponsible Princesses II" first. Never mind that it doesn't actually exist. I might actually write it eventually if I ever figure out what in Celestia's name it's supposed to be about.

I'm sorry for all the silliness.

Luna needs somepony to take over her job for the night. But Celestia's gotten back into the habit of sleeping, so she goes to Twilight instead. But it's not a problem that Twilight has never done this before, right? How hard can it be to learn?

Written for the EqD WTG #007. As always, comments are encouraged, and I once more make the request that everybody who chooses to like or dislike this story first leaves a brief comment giving a reason why.
I'll love you forever if you comply. Please?

I swear I'm not going to make a habit of finishing these things within ten minutes of midnight every week. Really, I promise.

I'll warn you up front: if I have any ability to judge the quality of my stories (I'm not really sure I do; even just by guessing I'd get some right), this is far from my best work. But you know how it is when you're obsessively participating in weekly events; even if you don't have anything good, you've got to show something.
I give up. As of now, I will cease to have opinions of my own writing. There is clearly no correlation between how well I think I've done, and how well you all think I've done.

In the not-too-distant future, Rainbow Dash is a Wonderbolt. And in the not-too-distant future, Lightning Dust is on the track to becoming a Wonderbolt, having not gotten kicked out of the Academy on her second try. In fact, in the not-too-distant future, Dash is stuck supervising a group of hopefuls, including Lightning. Unfortunately, they do not have a very friendly relationship.

This is particularly unfortunate when they end up grounded in the middle of the Everfree Forest together.

Wow. I got that into EqD three minutes before the deadline. Really, if I was going to cheat by sending it in before it's properly up, I should have just kept writing. But apparently I have too much integrity to fix the rushed ending or something. Maybe I'd rather have a hurried story and an excuse than a poorly written ending that I can't explain away? In any case, I'm sorry I left this so close to the deadline.

Written for the EqD WTG #006. Remember, if you don't comment, I don't know what you really think, and I don't do better next time. So I'd like to issue a challenge: before liking or disliking this story, tell me one reason you're clicking that button. If you care enough to have an opinion, I'm sure you can think of something.

You know Rainbow Dash. She loves flying with the Wonderbolts. So what if she hadn't faked an injury when they offered her a spot on the relay team? What if she had taken the offer? What would have happened?

I had this idea while watching "Rainbow Falls". I think it was when 'Shy said that it was okay if Dash wanted to be on the winning team. I thought, "well, why not?" And when it turned out not to work for the WTG prompt, I was left needing to write two stories this week. Something which apparently takes approximately forever.

If this fails to be a good story, I'm sorry; this was a brief exploration of possibility first, and a story second. But I have hope that it can be both. (And remember, I can't know what you think unless you tell me.)

While researching her family tree, Twilight is visited by Pinkie, who digs up a scroll showing one of Twilight's ancestors to be "Princess." The problem is, this is so many generations back that there were two princesses. Solving this mystery entails a visit to Canterlot for Twilight and Pinkie, but for us it means a visit to the past.

Twilight Sparkle marries a book and has a family. Then they die in a freak accident, leading her to go on a quest for revenge.
Then we do it again in more detail, because honestly the writer is not in control here. The story goes wither it wills.

Both chapters are telling kind of the same story, but authorial intent is that you read both in order. Trust me on this. I am the author.

This started as a response I made to an offhand joke about Twilight marrying a book, which took the form of a brief description of an increasingly implausible series of events that followed. I later decided to turn it into a proper story, but it came out as kind of a sequel to the original response (at least, that's my opinion). So I had to clean up my comment into a more readable story (while being careful not to change it significantly this time) and include it as the first chapter.

A while after the events of "Rarity takes Manehattan," the other five have also gotten their keys (I know you know that spool of rainbow thread is a key) and opened the box. There didn't seem to be anything inside. They can't figure out what's up with that until a week later, when they start developing superpowers. That's when things get kind of strange.

Well in the future, Ponyville is still remembered. The ruins are right there for anypony who wants to see them, after all. And sure, there's a lot about Ponyville that's been forgotten. Its name, for example. But Fluttershy's transformation to batpony and back is still remembered. And so are the other consequences of Twilight's spells.
This is the story of how Ponyville ended.

This was written for the Writer's Training Grounds #001 on Equestria Daily. I suspect that's only barely good enough of a reason to overcome my aversion to sharing my writing, so please try not to be too harsh in your (hopefully constructive) criticism. I'm skittish.
