This is fun:
I like writing about the worst day of a character's life; it lets us see the mettle inside. (Pronouns: RB/20 )
I'm writing another E-rated pony-on-Earth story; here Sweetie Belle is playing a board game with a human child. I've written the scene as checkers as a place holder, but I've been trying to think of a more interesting choice.
A little bit of Google led me to this interesting article:

Heck!
Sadly, this week's Chinese Grand Prix was cancelled this year, so it'll be two weeks before Formula 1 is back at Azerbaijan.
Another Samey90 / Sock collab:
I've said in the past, "The most important thing a writer can do is to read other people's good writing."
I'm presently reading Higgenbotham's Midnight in Chernobyl and whooooo boy, does it have some good stuff. I'm going to pull particularly horrid passages and post here.
You may have heard that a user (1) posted a blog threatening suicide and (2) then posted a comment on the blog threatening to murder me.
This is because:
If you say, "Murder and suicide seem a bit excessive of a response to cheering for a different sports team and ignoring a troll," all I can say is that I honestly wish I was joking.
Just watched "Super Mario Bros" movie in the theater.
I'll just go ahead and say it — it was a good movie, it accomplished what it needed to accomplish, I enjoyed it, it was fun. Ignore the critics. I won't give any spoilers here, but as far as videogame movies go, it was far, far better than it deserved to be.
Some non-spoiler thoughts, in random order:

I just said, "I need some shoes so that I can play videogames."
(But it makes sense in context: F1 22, and the pedals on my racing sim setup are polished steel.)
Flim and Flam in ancient Sumer, selling copper ingots.
