Octavia's past isn't mentioned often, or heard of for that matter. This story aims to change that.

This tale is of how Octavia has come to discover the melodious sound of the cello. And a very traumatic event is what started it.

You work in a small music shop in Manehattan when one day a curious black-maned gray mare walks in with a problem, you quickly fix it, but end up with plans by the end of the night. Is that even possible? no way life can be that good...

During one Hearths Warming Eve, the one that calls himself The Creator comes forth to re-tell the tale as it should've been had it not been told by what they saw, but rather but by what he, the all-seeing one, knows.

The story is revolved around you (the reader) and Rarity, who (you think) you fall in love with the day before Hearts and Hooves day. You have the potential to date, but as another stallion much more handsome and rich than you (and more popular) comes into the scene, he steals away Rarity. However it seems she does not truly love him (you hope). It is now up to you to devise a way to win back Rarity's heart, or perhaps win it over at all.
