When Fluttershy begins blacking out, she doesn't know why. Angel and Harry have been acting overly-protective of her, but when she can't control it anymore, even after asking for help from Zecora, she has to make a decision. Things get out of hoof, and she has to decide what she's going to do, and how that will affect her friends.
Especially the ones closest to her.

When Sunburst attempts an experiment in an old journal he found in the Crystal Empire, he seemingly succeeds in creating a crystallized memory enhancement tool. It looks like expected, and it's the right shape, but will it work the way it's supposed to?
As he looks over the journal he starts finding notes left to him by himself that he doesn't remember writing, and things he remembers happening happen for the first time. Is the crystal working as intended, or is it malfunctioning? And how will he know?

Spoiled Rich keeps her family under an iron hoof. Filthy Rich has learned to work with her, but Diamond Tiara has a much more difficult time with the manners and behavior expected of her, as she's just a filly. She knows the rules, and she abides by them as much as she can, but she doesn't like them.
Sometimes she needs a reminder why they behave in such a way in their house.
In our house, we are the best.

When Applejack goes to deliver apple treats to a group meeting, she gets roped into a strange cult's plot to end the world. The pony who placed the order, Mina, seems excited for it, but Applejack doesn't quite want to die just yet, and she tries to escape both the dark lord, Mina, and her eventual fate as harbinger of doom.
Maybe, however, she'll make a new friend along the way.

With his career slowly trickling away from him, Deadline needs a new story. He picks Rarity, the latest and greatest in fashion, to be the subject of his latest inquiries. While hunting for dirt on Rarity in Ponyville, he stumbles onto a secret that's going to be bigger (and more unbelievable) than anything he's ever found before. Can he publish this story?

Schools in Canterlot have become more exclusive over the years. There is rigorous screening performed on every pony that wishes to enter. It's strenuous for everypony, but even more so for unicorns, who have varied magical talents that can be used in many different ways. Peach Berry finds herself the recipient of one such talent that is in high demand, by whom, she never knew, and couldn't fathom, but now that she's in, does she want to be there? Does she have a choice?

Mayor Mare has a bathroom on the other side of Town hall she likes to visit for the privacy. However, one day she finds a door that previously didn't exist in the hall leading to. It is locked, and so she makes efforts to find out where it leads and how to open it.
Unfortunately for her, it goes places that aren't anywhere near Ponyville, and are dangerous to her home. As mayor, she has a duty to make sure that it remains closed, and the visitors from the other side can't get through.

A stallion is out climbing the mountains north of the Crystal Empire. When the glacier he and his companion are on cracks, he finds himself trapped deep within an icy crevasse, where hunger, sleep deprivation, and the bitter cold wear on his body and mind.

Pinkie Pie has gotten a job at a prestigious bakery in Manehatten. She moves into the city and gets a lovely little old house, complete with furnishings and old things. She finds a chest in the attic that seems sealed, and upon opening it, finds a puppet inside who speaks to her.
The puppet seems nice enough, and expresses an interest in Pinkie Pie and her life around the city. Pinkie has seen stranger things, and doesn't really question it, just opting to treat her new friend like she wouldn't any other friend. But things aren't as simple as she thinks they are.

Thesis has been struggling as a professor for years. There is an island in Luna Bay that holds her spellbound, because nopony has explored it in recent years. It's right nearby, but there seems to be a lack of interest in the place.
That may have to do with the poisonous plants dominating the flora on the island. It's a choked mess of poison and vines, and inhospitable to all but a single tribe of ponies. How do they survive? Why do they live there and not leave?
After a convincing speech, she gets the funding to manage the trip, but despite the hardships in getting volunteers and supplies, she's on her way soon enough. What she and the others find, isn't at all as great as she thought it would be.
