Trixie lost her magic duel against Twilight and is on the run again, unsure of what to do from now on.

Twilight sees hope for the showmare and wants to help Trixie in regaining her self-esteem.

This is my contest entry for the Everfree NW 2014 Pre-Con Contest.

The story happens just after the episode Magic Duel.

A strange pegasus colt fall injured in front of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, and ask them for help with his mission: spread love across Ponyville.

It was a good day for Twilight; tea with Celestia as her lesson on princessly etiquette, an afternoon studying a new and exciting magic branch with Luna, and in the evening a music show.

Until Twilight noticed a cluster of fireworks streaming towards her, that is.

Now Twilight must partner with the prime suspect, the fireworks expert responsible for the concert's special effects, in order to find the real culprit.

Set in the same continuity as Discord Comics and Dream Sparkle, but is an independent story; for those that didn't read Discord Comics, the relevant information missing is that Discord found a pegasus filly he cares about.

Being friendly is more boring than Discord expected, so he goes looking for some occupation, something to entertain him.

After his previous attempts result in amusing (for him) disasters (for everypony else), Discord decides to try his paw at creating comics.

Rated Teen because it suggests the existence of "mature" comics.

Twilight Sparkle and Pinkie Pie discover smudges covering the family ties of the same pony in different genealogical records; taking a closer look, they discover what appears to be large scale tampering with the genealogical records.

Deciding to solve the mystery Pinkie Pie travels to Canterlot, where she pairs up with Princess Luna in an attempt to solve the "Smudge Conspiracy".

This is the very first piece of fiction I wrote outside school assignments, and it's rushed due to the deadline to boot. I plan to edit it in due time, adding back a couple scenes I simply didn't have the time to write, but that will likely happen only in Q3 2014.
