Mater the tow truck's time in Ponyville chronicles

The next day

Ah was still sleeping peacefully and then Ah heard barking. Ah opened one eye and saw a brown border collie standing next to me.

"Winona! Don't wake Mater up!" Yelled Applejack.

"Oh is this your dog?" Ah asked.

"Yes, Winona's my dog, she help us with herding and other things but we love her." Answered Applejack and Winona came up to her and licked her face. "Down girl!" Applejack said.

Then Ah drove forward and hitched my tow cable to a cart ready for work. Me. Big Mac, and Applejack worked hard and with my help the two farmers made it past they're quota. Then when we finished Ah deiced to explore. Ah drove a for a while and as Ah went other ponies greeted me and then Ah heard Scootaloo yell:

"Hey leave us alone!" Ah followed the sound and came up to the CMC and two other small ponies were talking very mean to them.

"You lame Blank Flanks will never find your talent! said the pony with a crown.

"Yeah you 3 will always be lame!" said the pony with glasses. Ah got very mad and drove closer.

"Hey! we'll get our cutie marks! You wait and see!" Said Apple Bloom,

"Oh really? that will be the day!" said the crowned pony.

Ah quietly sneaked up to the two ponies and threw my hook on their tails and lifted them up to my face and said,

"Hey leave them alone ya meanies!" The two ponies got stunned and fall from my hook and landed on the ground.

"Oh my gosh! Did that tow truck just talk?!" said the crowned pony.

"Of course ah did! ah said. "Diamond Tiara, we'd like ya ta meet our friend, Mater the tow truck!" said Apple Bloom.

"Your fri-ends with this rusty tow truck!?" said the pony with glasses.
"Yes he is! And a great one too!" said Sweetie Belle.

"Mater, this is Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. These 2 are always making fun of us because we don't have our cutie marks!" said Scootaloo.

"You ain't got the right ta do that!" Ah said to them.

"Well your just a rusty tow truck!" said Silver Spoon.

"Yeah? Being rusty is what makes me special!"

Ah said driving forward toward the two ponies. "You should show some respect for these 3 ponies! Ah don't wanna brag or nothin' but Ah'm friends with a very famous race car! If he say what you were doin' he'd be very mad! But if Ah catch you bein' mean again Ah'll tell Applejack about this! Ah'd even get my friend here!" Ah said sternly, then the two ponies were so busy backing from me they didn't watch where they were going. then they fell into a mud puddle. Ah then turned around and drove up to the small ponies and Apple Bloom said,

"Thanks Mater! We owe you one!"

"How'd you like to see our clubhouse?" asked Scootaloo.

"Of course Ah would!" Ah said, so Ah followed them to where their clubhouse was.

How does Mater know what a dog is...in fact, how the heck does he know what a pony is, a unicorn or pegasus no less? I'm no Cars expert, so I could by all means be wrong, but where on earth would a half-wit like Mater find time to learn english and then read up on mythical creatures that likely don't exist in his world.

You've got to remember that Mater is a metal-based machine that runs on gasoline, coolants, water, brake fluid and etc. Ponies are flesh and blood creatures that consume things like water, protein, and carbohydrates and then turn those into energy. There ain't a way in the underworld that Mater would know jackspit about any biological life form. Sure, you've got the books theory, but Mater is an idiot who probably can't read. Then again, he could have heard about it from word-of-mouth (stories and stuff like that) so there's another (sketchy at best) theory.

Another rule to follow: never ever, ever put a number like 4 or 2 as that. Take a few extra microseconds to write the damn word out, it'll be well worth the time, since your readers won't think that you're so lazy (not saying that you are, or anything, just that that's how people see putting 2 instead of two.)
