While I don't want to make presuppositions as to your intent, "prodigal" (wastefully extravagant) seems like a poor word choice here. Perhaps "prodigious"?

The only thing that took me out of the story a little was when Twilight mentioned having prepared a 16-page speech then shortened it down to 100 words. That seems like something you just wouldn't remember in a dream, at least that specifically, unless she actually dreamed about writing the whole thing before the story began, which seems like an awfully dull dream to have...
Other than that minor thing, this story was great, and I'm definitely looking forward to more. Especially the promised mature parts!

I figured Twilight, being the egghead that she is, would have very vivid, logical, and well-constructed dreams. Her obsessive-compulsive tendencies and analytical mind seemed like they would lend themselves well to more realistic dreams, rather than the usual weirdness we're used to. That particular line was really more of a one-off thing played for comedy, but I can see where you're coming form and hope this clears it up.

FiMFiction rules require you to tag your story for Mature content if you know you're going to have it, even if it doesn't appear until later in the story. It's a way to keep from "leading your readers on", or making people who don't want mature content to end up reading it accidentally.

This story kinda reminds me of The Dark Apprentice by Come Hither. But they're really only similar in general ways. I just hope you don't go on indefinite hiatus half way through the story like Come Hither has! hehe.

They don't stick around once I've awoken, nor do most of my dreams, but when I wake, I occasionally recall remembering something I once "did" in my dream. Since this followed Twilight actually experiencing her dream, I find it completely plausible that she would remember something like that. (But I've found that my dreams are often very different from others'.)

That's very interesting. I personally don't dream very much (or maybe I just don't remember doing so?) so I base much of what I think of as "normal" for dreams from others' descriptions, and I've always heard people talk about how you can never remember anything that happened before your dream in a dream. (It was definitely a thing in Inception! Hell, even in this very story twilight realizes this at some point.) But of course different people will dream in different ways. It was silly of me to think everyone would be the same... Thanks for enlightening me!

I did read the chapter thank you. But therein lies the problem. It's a convoluted and drawn out set up but the end result is still just clop fic tripe. There is a much older twi/luna fic that has this same premise but is done without the eventual point being the sex, but rather their relationship as it develops. I mean you can say whatever you want to but we all know in our heart of hearts that the point of this is cartoon horse sex. I find this objectionable.
