I wonder what happens to Myrga in the historical route where TBK loses. Looks like Baragazen won and probably fell into debauchery.

This isn't exactly the historical route, but it follows pretty closely to that up to the NZW. Basically it went Pea Shooter > Vasile > Chiropterrans > Liberation by Aris > Zarantia. Baragzen died in the defence of Tobuck, but before that he sent his two kids and their mothers to Myrga, and that's why they're there at the end.

I am a sucker for opportunities for expansion, and this one is chock full of it. Could go backwards into describing the war, or maybe talk about Draconis's current or past work as a mercenary, or Baragzen's children.
One minor issue I see though, and really it's not that bit of an issue, is that you would need to be in the know to get many of the things described in the fic. Not just about EAW in general, but also knowledge about North Zebrica's many outcomes in the mod. I suppose it comes with the territory however.

The opportunities for expansion are something I like doing, and it's great to hear that it's working! I find it's one of the best ways to tie a small-scale narrative like this into the massive world that is EaW.
As for the outcomes, all you really need to know is that Chiropterra exists, fought a war with Hippogriffia and lost. I do put the EaW disclaimer in the description so people know what to look up, but I guess I can get a little EaW-brained.

I am surprised this story has few views. I liked reading this. A wonderful piece of insight into Tobuck, mercenaries, and post war North Zebrica. I'm sometimes hoping Coral Ridge himself gets interviewed.
