A world class assassin, transported to Equestria saves the city from Tempest Shadow's invasion, only to find that there's a much bigger plot looming over the horizon, and only the Storm King's commander can help him stop it.
Y’know, with how smooth a bunch of these operations are going, I’d say after the story is done, you should make a bonus “Omake Chapter” in which this whole thing was just Keanu Reeves and Fizzlepop Berrytwist playing a video game titled: “John Smith: Once More Into the Fray”.
In that chapter, it covers each of the combat scenes, but with the protagonists just constantly dying, followed by a “GAME OVER”, and then closing up each death scene with the two players just commenting on how, and why, the plan screwed up.
11421416 Maybe add in a bunch of Microtransactions thrown at the menu if the game was made by “E-Hay Games”, or the option of adding ridiculous mods in a marketplace because “Bethesda” made it.
... And no, there’s no need for a pony-pun version of Bethesda, because the joke is just that they own EVERY major broken game that just works, no matter what universe you’re in.
But yeah, I’m enjoying this so far! I look forward to the next amount of shenanigans they get themselves into!
By the way, I have a quick question. Do you have the whole story pre-written before being published, or just several chapters ahead? I’ve noticed you’ve consistently been releasing a new chapter every Friday, and was curious about your means of keeping up with it.
11421797 I wrote 7 chapters before I started uploading. While I post, I continue to write the rest of the story. At this point, I have the next chapter finished, but after that, I'll be caught up. I am writing just about 1 chapter a week right now though. So I think I'll be able to keep from making people wait more than a week until the end of the story.
11422033 Ahh, that makes sense! I’m probably gonna try doing that, then, with one of my upcoming story plans. Or, at least, I may do the main chapters, then start working on the bonus chapters after I’ve gotten all the main ones pre-written.
But anyways, thanks for sharing that!
And hey, just remember that, if you’re not that satisfied with a chapter, don’t feel obligated to post it prematurely! It’s always better to publish delayed perfection over a rushed minor improvement!
As a victim of having chapters catch up way too rapidly for me in the past (Like when I was working on Fate Weaver), I know what it’s like to stress over falling behind on something. If you’re ever in that situation, feel free to chat with me, and we can vent with each other over it, and exchange supporting words together!
After all, that’s what this very community we’re in was originally founded on:

Teamwork
A metric Fkton of Tolerance (with a hint of Hard Cider thrown in Knighty’s direction! Don’t lie if you see this, Knigty, you nozy yet glorious bastard, you! )

Along with bitching about the random glitches that screwed up what should've been a perfect run.

XD
Now that's a great idea lol.

Well thank you! Who knows, I might just have to take you up on that offer one of these days.
11422500
Well, that offer will be there anytime you need!

Too bad he can't make a battle saddle for her.
