So rarely do I get to a story before it becomes popular, I find myself with all the luck today!
Good story! Chrysalis just surrendering like this is great simply for the tension she adds just by being herself. I was taken aback slightly when this suddenly turned anthro. Perhaps it was mentioned and I simply overlooked it. I also think that the prologue should have been first person Celestia, but that’s me.
I do like how many of Chrysalis’ thoughts are from a military perspective. I can’t wait for her to meet Twilight, that should be fun!

Great chapter here, maybe add some personal breakers for all the characters though so that we know who we’re following when you decide to change the perspective.
