Well handled on all accounts. If you want someone to respect you, you need to respect them in turn.
First stage in owning a house, complete. rent.
Will the house warming Party be waiting for them?
Lyra Cloudwalker, "These aren't the feelz you're looking for". waves hoof at Scootaloo
This whole chapter was just adorable.
Tuffs what is your favorite mango
Credit to Nibs for not just letting every random yahoo in to bother the princess. She'll get a sense of who's who soon enough.
Major credit to Lyra for handling this situation in a manner respectful to all parties. It's a rare person who can blend inner child and outer respnsibility like that.
Is that even necessary? She's still a pegasus; cloudwalking's built in.
Looking forward to more. Especially if Tufts encounters his pseudo-granddaughter. And the Crusade already having started raises some fascinating questions about other early parts of the timeline...
This was a interesting chapter and it's good that the situation with Scootaloo was resolved quickly. I expect that the next chapter will be from Joyce's perspective since we've had 3 with Lyra in a row. Of course the situation with Scootaloo's hasn't been completely finished so we might get more Lyra.
Sweetie Drops, how do you feel about parenting? To clarify; you having to parent.
That's it. That's the whole story.

even though there is more than a year left before the start of the show, it seems that we already have an early formation of cmc
Line made me start another read. I've read your stories so many times that there are lines and scenes that I have memorized.
I was at a family thing last month. Talking to my almost 9 nephew and the subject came up.
Me: Did you have fun at camp? Meet lots of new kids? Looked like you were having a blast with the other boys and girls.
Nephew: eww, dude. Girls have cooties.
Me: Well, yea. I was being nice. There's a reason I married my roommate.
Nephew having an epiphany: That's how it should be! (to other kid playing minecraft) Jake! When we grow up we should get married so no one complains about our computer time!
Queue awkward conversation with sister-in-law on the phone that night.
11667957 Hehehehehehe. Now there's a kid who knows what he wants and is ready to get out there and get it!
A rather clever solution! So long as nopony looks too hard at the books.
