Her entire body seemed to glow with vigor; her mane, tail, and coat all sporting that thick, lustrous look, and she had a calm, peaceful air that complimented her motherly form. Velvet’s pregnancies hadn’t always been this kind to her, looks-wise, or symptoms-wise, but for whatever reason, this one...
One more chapter to go!

I'm absolutely dreading the inevitable eventually happening to my grandparents... so this line hit me hard. What I'm trying to say is... seriously well done.
You keep calling Twilight Velvet "Velvet", which makes sense in the narration if Twilight Sparkle is also in the scene, but she's a tertiary character here and the context is perfectly clear about who this story is about, so it's kind of a weird choice (think of any story where Twilight is a main character and replace every instance of "Twilight" or "Twilight Sparkle" with just "Sparkle") but no big deal.
However, Night Light also refers to her as "Velvet" when he's speaking directly to her. His wife. With whom he already grew old once. Why does he call her by her last name? Having a kid share the name of your spouse doesn't make you change the way you refer to her, if anything what a parent does is give the kid a nickname.
Anyway, it's a small detail but I find it very jarring specially when they even go about calling Princess Celestia just "Celestia" for example and in a story about an old couple renewing their romance.

Even so, that's the name I associate with her daughter. Using it in sex scenes would give me incest squick.
when they even go about calling Princess Celestia just "Celestia"
Velvet and Night make a conscious effort to treat Celestia and Luna as equals, and expect the favor to be reciprocated. This is why Velvet gets annoyed when Celestia tries to pander to her in the first chapter.
“Of course it’s weird seeing you and Mom young,” Shining said with a shrug. “But weird’s kinda become par for the course for us, hasn’t it? If you guys wanna have another kid, go nuts. I don’t mind.”

Aaaaaaaw yeah!
Big leaky teats, wide hips, a shining coat of fur, and a big sexy belly of shifting life.
I think this chapter has proven that a pony at full term is the sexiest kind. Twilight Velvet is one extremely lovely gravid mare.
I would love it if their next baby becomes the most heinous monster Equestria has ever seen.
This has really been a great read for me, I loved it so much.
Wish I could like this twice.
