I take you are moving the story fast so you can get to the meat of your story, but I feel the sorting could use a little more fluffing out. With all the girls meeting now it feels rushed and unnatural for everyone but Pinkie. It just feels weird that Twilight wants to have them as friends right away at the sorting ceremony, a little more interaction between them before would help with this.
Overall this is a very interesting start to your story and I will be tracking!
The pacing is a bit fast, but will be interested to see where you go with this

When the paintings were asked why she was let in they said, "It's Pinkie Pie. We were warned about her from her paintings at home!"
Glad to see Pinkie still being Pinkie. Although that riddle was some what easy but I think Pinkie by the end will find a way past any enchtantment in the castle.so what will be the event that brings together the girls?

I noticed that the characters keep listing off their own traits from (what appears) to be an objective narrative. Good story, otherwise. Rarity was pretty in character.
Brake a tradition and get sorted into Slytherin.
