Monsters, having entered through other portals, began terrorizing ponykind, leaving few areas of refuge. If Equestria is to survive, brave hunters must rise to defend all they hold dear.

6873101 To continue, Hunters will be combat ready in seconds after being knocked out in battle, and still ready if they fail the quest (generally by being knocked out three times). That being said, Tharnax's recovery was swift by Equestrian standards, but extremely slow by Monster Hunter standards.
Made some minor changes, along with a correction to my first chapter. It's a rope, not a lever rope.
I've got some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that it will take me longer than expected to continue the story after the first chapter. I need to rethink how I want things to go. The good news is that, in the meantime, I still have a piece of the story I'm writing that is not influenced by this. I'm keeping that as a surprise.
I have a lot of stuff to work out, and I'm not getting anywhere with this at the moment. It will be sometime before I resume my story.
Progress continues! Some of said issues have been worked out. To give everypony an idea, there wouldn't have been much of a story had I not gone and reworked some of this. I still don't have the next chapter close to ready yet, but it is in the works!
