From what it seems, they haven't fully become that character, as there's still some semblance of their old selves affecting their personality. Thomas is the closest to being the full character, but there's some minor differences, and it appears that he is probably in that head somewhere, influencing things just a small bit. Alex simply embraced his persona with open arms, and Chloe is still Chloe, just in Seras's body. Had the author simply used the original characters, it would have made things a bit more complicated in terms of backstory and whatnot, memories, and friendships. In here, the three of them are friends, whereas in Hellsing, they are not.

Really like your take on Seras and Schrodinger. Also, the tattooing scene/Twilight's kinda first time was hilarious to read, especially with how tsundere Twilight acts when Alucard treats her with true tenderness.

Also frauline*cringe* ... try Fräulein (that would be the correct way to spell it) same thing, don't forget the dots.(example: sägen [to saw] sagen [to tell / talking]

Seras glared at the hooded man, her custom made gauntlets creaking from the force of her rage. With a near silent movement, she whipped her hands forward, launching a pair of silvery blades from her gauntlets and neatly impaling the man from behind through the throat and abdomen. The draculina smirked and flicked her wrists outwards, the wires connected to the blades wrapping around the man as she flung him up into the air. She leapt from her tree branch and ascended to her target’s already dying form, spinning around and delivering a brutal axe kick to his abdomen and disengaging the wires, causing the cultist to smash into the ground as a bloody paste, ritual unfinished and damage paid back in full.

Seras with microfilament wires AND bayonets. Nice.

Talk about getting into character.
