Dark Flame was a young stallion of the mining village, Stonewall. But after a dragon thought to be of myth attacks, Dark becomes the only survivor and now attempts to remake his life. However, his past isn't willing to let him go so easily.
Going to a con is fun... But when you get transported to Equestria as your costume and end up in a desert with little food and water... It ain't fun anymore... At least I got Sparten Pathfinder armor on with a cloak like the one the Chief used...
Waking up in a tree usually doesn't mean its gonna be a good day...today on the other hand I find it to be the opposite...at least in the short run as i find myself in a world of ponies
A scenario where a being of chaos and war brought to a place of harmony and peace is not often a pretty one. However, the presence of a loved one can sometimes tame even the wildest of monsters. But for how long?
That is sad and yet wrote pretty well... I enjoyed... I tried to think of a smart way to say reading... This deplorably(don't know what it means, let's just say pretty) small piece of literary work.
It was rather straight to the point, and if I had to guess, EXACTLY HOW SHIT WOULD GO DOWN! In this situation, ponies would gladly accept the help of the human, but would they really let it ride in a damn hot air balloon with them? Hell no. I know for damn sure I wouldn't let some random fuck ride in my stairway to salvation. Screw'em. Although, I do believe the main six protested against the idea. It was probably the royal guards who fucked him over, not the elements.
5453370 But he was clearly intelligent and didn't belong out there.... He was wearing clothes for hells sake. I would at least expect twilight to want to learn about him and I think she would have the authority to make them...
5453705 There was also the fact that he spent a week with them and didn't once show hostility towards them.
Really, this story's biggest failing for me is that it leaves to many questions. Why why where the mane 6 at the crash sight? Why did they want the guy to come with them if they where just going to leave him behind? What did that book say? Why did it have to be the mane 6 at all ( you could replace them with any random group of ponies or even just one pony and the story would make just as much sense, more in fact, as I doubt they would abandon someone they have been traveling with to die in the Badlands).
This story wants to be a tragedy but just leaves me to confused to feel sad.
5453705 Who the hell knows? Twilight likely didn't have the authority to override whoever gave the command to save them, and more than likely there wasn't enough room in the balloon. This is all speculation of course, but I hardly doubt the ponies would actually save the human if you consider their reactions to Zecora. Since I'm too lazy to actually look back into the story, Twilight may have not been a princess yet, or if she was, she only had the title. Not the actual authority of say, Celestia or Cadence. More to the point - what in god's name were the elements stranded in that situation? Alas, we'll just have to guess and see.
