nice
It's happeniiiing. Also a very good new year to you ^^ Hope you had a "blast" ha... You aren't the only one who has puns for days... Start of this chapter did catch me going "wut" though that's for sure. You tricky lil thing you :P
9378956 This chapter is likely trickier than a lot of people are realizing It's hopefully going to be one of those situations where really through the rest of the story someone reads something, recognizes the connection, then comes back here to check if they're right.

I will be doing that for sure. Granted once this one is finished It's going to be one of those stories I return to frequently for sure so maybe I won't have to keep coming back I will just check up when I reread for the umpteenth time x3

More? You want more?! No worries, Ch. 17.2 will be a nice heaping chapter.

When I say "finish" I mean with the planned storyline at which point Final Frontiers will be changed to "Completed" status. In all likelihood I will have thoughts about what occurs after and may write those as shorts in series under a different title.

For ponies it's no big deal, they know their dreams are being monitored by Luna, so for her it wasn't something she would consider a trespass of privacy. Profuse apologies along with promises it wouldn't occur again and her holding to her word (as well as not facing the charge of physically assaulting a Princess) were probably the best course of action for Titus going forward.
9393718
Also to keep in mind is that he crashed during the day, so Luna was asleep when suddenly an unknown joined the dreamscape. It was only later, after Celestia was contacted by Twilight and Luna was sent to Ponyville, where she sat down and returned to the dreamscape with the sole purpose of re-entering his dreams and hence the reason she knew to enter the room just shortly after he had woken up.

Yes, he lost. Dash can literally break the sound barrier, I don't think it's a far stretch to imagine she could move fast enough that even a Jedi would have trouble; it's the same concept why a slugthrower rifle was such an effective weapon against Jedi - the round traveled faster than they could react. In a fight, speed wins over strength and size because the opponent is left to react as the faster individual dictates the majority of the fight. Add in that Titus wasn't using the Force offensively (ie Force Pull/Push) to avoid being accused of cheating with magic he had inadvertently handicapped himself more than he thought, but moreover he didn't want to hurt Dash once she started ricocheting off the ropes. He was left on the defensive at which point Dash only needed to find an opening, but had none of these factors been present it likely would have been a different fight as Titus isn't a pushover.

Not a pushover? That's debatable.

So debate it. Jedi, with all of their abilities, are still mortal beings. All over the galaxy these supposed super individuals were killed by mass-produced Clones, and though trained and skilled fighters most needed the element of surprise to accomplish this, but even Master Ki-Adi-Mundi fell despite realizing they had turned on him. Then you have Palp fooling an entire council of the strongest and wisest Jedi, Windu gets thrown out of a window, and even the Space Jesus equivalent that is Anakin with his crazy midichlorian powerlevels still loses both legs to Obi Wan because he underestimated the value of high ground and got cocky, and then he is fooled by Palp telling him that he killed Padme and can't even feel his own kids are still alive. For all their power, the Jedi Order fell because of their own faults.
In terms of Titus, against Dash he was only sparring and purposely limited himself, as I've said previously, and fighting Show's herd he wasn't able to stop them from teleporting him which left him disoriented at first but he still managed to come back and incapacitate a three of the four - without offensively using his lightsaber - before the guard showed up and took over. He has to be mindful of what he does and meter his actions, public opinion on him is negatively skewed (certainly less than it was when he arrived) so going even slightly beyond the level of force necessary to subdue them could pitch public opinion and the Council against the Princesses granting him permission to stay. What would have happened if he had sliced even a hoof off of one of them à la Dooku v. Anakin (AotC) or Vader v. Luke (Ep. 5) to end the fight? Not every Jedi was an Anakin or a Starkiller, and I don't want him to be a character like that, but within the story there hasn't been a time where Titus has been able to fully let loose.

The clones were special, both in training and also in what they were, Mandalorians. The instance with Ki Adi Mundi on Mygeto was also somewhat unique. I forget where the source for it is, but Order 66 was given some time prior to that scene in Revenge of the Sith. It was enough of a wait that the emperor actually noticed it. The clones needed to put Ki in between a rock and a hard place to actually have a chance of defeating him. Palpatine was able to fool the Jedi really only because he was Palpatine. Sheev was naturally able to bury his presence in the Force and thanks to his master's meddling with the balance of the Force, it was enough to hide himself from the Jedi. Anakin was able to be powerful, but he was not operating at full strength on Mustafar. Even the high ground wouldn't have saved Obi Wan if Anakin was. Anakin was running solely on dark side adrenaline rather than actual power.
I think you're partially wrong about slug weapons. They are more effective against Jedi, however, if memory serves, it's more just because they can only defend against the shot, since it disintegrates against the blade rather than not being able to block it at all.
As for the mob fight between Titus and the herd. There isn't much to say there. He might have had options besides just pushes and pulls, (namely the abilities you could get in KoToR 1 and 2 like Stasis) but I don't know how much those powers were still taught during the Galactic Republic era. There was a force protection ability you could get that could protect the caster from force attacks (for a time) but again, not likely to matter when the Sith are presumed extinct.

Master Mundi was initially dubious of the 501st's appearance on Mygeeto because they weren't operating under his command and had been given a separate objective on the battlefield but his caution was alleviated when his Clone Commander, Bacara, vouched for them. This was before Order 66 was even issued. Bacara was given the order and knew Mundi was a formidable with a lightsaber so the marines waited until he had charged forward across a bridge, thinking without question that the clones were behind him, until he was caught between the droid forces and Clones. He was left confused as Bacara and the Marines didn't follow and leveled their blasters, the moment of hesitation on Bacara's part giving him time to mount a small defense when they did but he was shot in the gut and couldn't defend himself further. My reason for mentioning the whole Palp fooling the Council, Windu out a window, and Anakin's anticlimactic amputation was to point to Jedi can still make human mistakes.
Slugthrowers were effective against because, including not being able to deflect rounds back at attackers, the round melted and could send the molten fragments spraying past the lightsaber defense into the wielder. The round didn't have a visible indicator like a blaster bolt, moved faster, and the round itself could be outfitted with different payloads for the target, so for someone hunting Jedi there were likely very specialized rounds or something that was effective - explosive, ion (because a slugthrower relied on chemical propellants), etc.
Titus used several abilities in the fight that weren't Push/Pull, those being Crucitorn on himself to mitigate the pain after being tossed around and the disorientation from being teleported, Force Burst against Big Knockout to send him through the bridge and crashing into the field, Force Shockwave when he landed and knocked them all down, and Force Absorbtion to defend against Show and Savage's lightning attack and Force Grip to later take their horns and break their concentration on spells. None of the abilities he used had the goal of killing, the closest with any potential being Force Burst but the earth pony had proven he could take a hit because, again, there would have been consequences if he had just outright killed or maimed them. He may find himself in a position where he's not so limited.

It's been a while since I read that chapter, though for the most part I was kinda correct. He had predominantly used kinesis esque abilities rather than something like stasis field or one of the many dark side powers from KoToR like a force scream, lightning, or even a force drain. I should have specified there earlier. It's unlikely he could use nearly any of those except maybe the scream but that one is fairly self explanatory on how to use it. The two exceptions were control pain and a variant of Tutaminis.
That's the story specifically with Mundi, just put more eloquently.
Wait wait wait. Hold on a moment. Don't think you can sneak fancy new cover art under my radar without me noticing! Unless I'm seeing things that cover is new! Looking good :D That's all xD Litterally was skimming through stories at "no joke" 5:50 am "and no I have yet to sleep... Insomnia is a pain in the rear sometimes"
Have a good one :P
