I like the "two become one" concept for fixing the time problem. I was kinda worrying that Starlight was gonna cause a paradox or something because she was talking to her past self when she wasn't before, but you dashed those worries away with a solution that actually seems satisfying (at least, in my eyes.)
Also nice to see that Glimglim did get a punishment. She is one of my favorite characters, but I do have to admit that her villian story was stupid. Hopefully her sentence will be completed soon!
Your story is a work of art that continues to be absolutely phenomenal, and it always makes me excited to see what comes next in the plot. You've come such a long, long way, and I've read this from the very first day (it's tempting to continue this little imitation, but I'm not gonna push my limits here.)
I became too ‘fanstruck’ by the story that I ran outside and screamed and the neighbors were asking me “do you have a mental breakdown?”
It was sure crazy and.. embarrassing but your writing is so awesome!!!!!!
Man, I love this story. I mean, you took a concept that has been done to death, had it follow the episodes of the show but put your own spin on things that makes it feel like its own story. I love stories like this but a common thing they all fall into is that the OC and/or character that is displaced never seems to leave as much of an impact on the world as they should. Instead, it feels like they're shoehorned in and could very easily be written out. Luckily, you don't seem to fall into that trap too much. Yes, there are some episodes that are kept relatively the same but you do show that the actions of the characters have consequences. I, especially, like how you handled Starlight's punishment. While understand what the writers were tying to do, it just felt that Starlight, as a villain, was given too much of a rushed redemption. Here, while she still stays in Ponyville, she is held accountable for her actions.
Keep up the good work man.
Damn...that was pretty harsh. I can get the probation, but Midnight should at least understand her motives. But then again...she really messed up, did she?
I approve of Starlight's punishment.
Although I feel Celestia, Sombra, and Luna should have been informed/consulted as the fallout of this whole mess was Equestria wide and the Three Ruling Alicorns of the Domain of Equestria are the Crown Authority of the Lands and Laws of the nation.
So they deserved to be brought into the loop as a matter of protocol and courtesy.
