Hmm, while stand-alone, this isn't quite heart-breaking, if this were in the actual story, it'd add just that much more depth. All-in-all, I give it a thumbs up.

Well, it was pretty interesting.
The first paragraph or two were good. But then you made a lot of errors in sentence construction. And, without the spacing out between dream/reality, this story gets a twist of weird-creepy. Her 'daddy' was able to look into her dreams. I smell overly-obsessed human.
Also, there is absolutely no reason for 'Dashie' to imply that her 'daddy' actually abandoned her inside of the box. Every living being that sleeps has nightmares; she would know that what played out wasn't the truth. She could be startled and cry. But blame her father? No. Just no. No matter how she is scared of the box; unless Rainbow Dash had some kind of mental pathology (which My Little Dashie makes it clear that she doesn't) she wouldn't confuse dreams with reality.
I see the tendency of manipulating the reader's emotions on everything that is linked to My Little Dashie (including the original); but this fic right here just toppled over big time... thumbs down.
