Chapter 2: Enter the Doctor

“Uh… Girls? You may want to see this…” Rainbow stated as she pointed at a small black orb that floated in place. All of the Mane 6 had their attention on the small orb in the middle of the orchard. “Got any ideas on what it is Egg-head?”

“If I’m correct that is a-”

“-Disruption in the temporal balance in time and space! Isn’t that exciting?” Pinkie exclaimed looking at the little black orb.

“B-but… how… UGGH! Never mind that! Just what is it doing here?” Twilight partly shouted as she put her hooves to her head.

“I think I can enlighten you as to what it’s doing here!” The Mane 6 turned their heads to look at the unknown voice. What they saw was a pale brown stallion with a chocolate brown mane in a green tie and a grey Pegasus mare with a blonde mane.

“And who are you exactly?” Twilight asked a bit appalled that this stallion could know more on a subject than she did. “And why are you with Derpy?”

“Me? Well I am the Doctor, Just the Doctor. For why that temporal disruption is here, it starts at a thing called a dimension gate but that can and will be explained later and for why Miss Hooves is with me, she is my traveling companion.” The Doctor explained as he pulled out a metal rod with a glowing blue tip out of his tie pocket? I dunno but that’s not important. “And by the appearance of our little guest here, they should be arriving soon! Oh I can’t wait!”

“You still haven’t told me what you are waiting for Doctor! The suspense is killing me!” Derpy said sternly to the Doctor raising her hooves into the air to emphasize suspense. “Just give me a clue! Is it some old friend of yours or something?”

“Umm hello? We are still here y’know!” Rainbow exclaimed in a snarky attitude. At that sentence the orb started humming and vibrating. Everyone turned to look at the orb.

“Well… that’s not good. Something has disrupted the Dimension gate. Something big, something very big.” The Doctor pointed the metal rod at the orb which was humming and vibrating more violently than before. The Doctor’s eyes suddenly widened with fear. “Excuse me Twilight?”

“How do you know my-”

“Long story, did you by any chance invite the princess to look at our little guest?” The Doctor asked his eyes plastered to the black spinning orb.

“Yes, I did. Why do you ask?”

The Doctor had a look that could only be described as; “That’s not good!”

“What’s not good Pardner?” Applejack asked eying the Doctor.

“As in something-so-big-as-that-can-destroy -half-of-this-orchard not good!” The Doctor practically yelled with his pitch going higher after every word. “We need to vacate the premises immediately!”

Suddenly the black orb started wobbling and expanding then contracting over and over again. “EVERYPONY RUN!!! IT’S GONNA BLOW!!!” Rainbow Dash yelled over the noise of the black orb.

“Twilight? What is going on?” The 8 ponies turned around to see Princess Celestia and Princess Luna standing behind them.

“Is that the Doctor?” Luna asked looking at the Doctor in question.

“Wonderful seeing you again Luna but… EVERYPONY HIT THE DECK!!!” And everypony did so… well apart from Celestia that is.

“Excuse m-” A Black goo hit Celestia in the face and some of it got stuck on her fur while some splatted on the nearby apple cart.

“Princess!” Twilight yelled over the noise of the spinning orb as she ran to Celestia.

“Luna! Get your sister! We need to get out of here!” Luna levitated the unconscious Celestia and ran off to the barn followed by the other 8 ponies. Running as fast as they could they could feel the vacuum that the portal created as it expanded sucking in the trees and earth that was in its way. As everypony ran into the barn, they saw a flash of white as the portal exploded releasing its contents onto Equestria. Suddenly the opposite side of the barn was impaled by the nose of a giant red plane. “Oh my dear lord…”

“Doctor? What is that thing?!” Luna yelled and asked at the same time as the apple cart rolled into the barn.

“That is what appears to be a plane. A vehicle that carries things to different countries. But this is definitely not an average plane.” Suddenly the screams of the princess of the sun echoed through barn as the black goo appeared to be trying to dislodge itself from Celestia’s face. “Okay, I have seen some messed up things in my travels but this takes the cake.”

The Black goo had grown arms which had long claws as fingers which stretched for 75cm and was attempting to pull itself out of Celestia’s mouth. As the creature had made its way out of Celestia’s mouth and off of her face, it hand grown two legs and appeared to be solid. The creature felt its body to check that everything was there but stopped when it could not feel its head. “Hey Idiot over here!”

The Ponies turned their heads to see that the goo that was on the Apple cart was turning into a head with three spikes running across like a Mohawk. Rarity and Fluttershy shrieked when they saw the head while the others were gaping at the sight before them. The beheaded body stumbled over to the head and picked it up, placing it on its shoulders. “Much Better.”

“What are you? You weren’t supposed to come through the portal!” The Doctor shouted standing up in front of the beast. The being smiled.

“Well aren’t you a feisty one.” The thing said as it back handed the doctor into the wall. It turned its attention to the other ponies but its gaze stopped when it spotted Rainbow Dash. “You are so colorful. It makes me sick. I think I will enjoy covering you in Darkness and taking away that color.”

“Oh yeah? Take your best shot!” Rainbow Dash said as she flew off the wall at the dark being who opened his chest to reveal pure nothingness and closed it when Rainbow had flown through. Twilight stood up and looked at the creature.

“Let her out… Now!” The evil creature laughed a high pitched laugh that made the ponies cover their ears.

“If you insist…” The creature turned to the wall and opened its chest releasing Rainbow who was still flying at top speed crashing through the wall of the barn. The ponies gasped as the being chuckled in its normal deep voice. “What? You wanted me to let her out.”

“Enough Darkk…” The Beast and the ponies (Apart from Celestia, Rainbow and the Doctor who were unconscious.) turned to see what appeared to be a hairless ape wearing mostly blue clothing holding a golden sword with a silver hilt in his hand. By the look of his clothes and the dents in his arms, it looked like he was buried under the wreckage of the barn and plane moments ago. “Let Sparro back out.”

“You think I like being used? I’m constantly being summoned from his subconscious to save himself from death. I always have to fight what he can’t. I don’t get to enjoy my life anymore. Sparro gets to enjoy his. My name never used to be Darkk, but along came Sparro McGraw, Mr. Chosen One, savior of Galaxies and you know what? Guess who usually takes on the leaders of these guys, me! I should be getting praise. And now you want me to voluntarily let-” Darkk stopped as he felt a hand enter his chest where his heart should be. The ape pulled out what appeared to be a light purple sword with a dark purple and red hilt with a purple crystal on the end of the handle.

“Let him out? Yes.” Darkk fell to his knees and cried out a high pitched wail that made all of the ponies cover their ears, even those who were unconscious woke up to the sound. The goo seeped into the spot where the sword came out of to reveal a dark purple stallion with a black and white mane and tail. His cutie mark was a picture of a pair of headphones and he had two bat wings on his back. Hidden in his mane was a pointed horn defining him as a Bat Pony and a Unicorn. The now awakened Doctor mustered all of the strength he could into trying to get to the stallion’s side.

Derpy flew over to the Doctor and caught him just before he fell. “You need to sit down Doctor! You’ll hurt yourself. Doctor?”

As Derpy looked at the brown stallion, she saw he was crying with tears running down his face. “I’m sorry! Did I do something?” Derpy asked as she helped him take his last steps towards the dark purple stallion.

“No Derpy…sniff…He’s finally here… My son is here!” he cried as he fell to the floor next to the unconscious body. Derpy helped the Doctor back up as the one with the golden sword turned to them.

“You are… The Doctor? As in the one who sent Sparro to find his twin sister?” The Doctor nodded as the Purple pony started to stir.

“Fred? Is that you?” Fred smiled as he offered his hand as the purple hoof of Sparro reached it. Sparro stood on all fours and looked at his bare body. “Okay, this is different than I thought it would be.”

“Hmm I wonder why? Oh wait I know! BECAUSE YOU’RE A PONY!!!” Fred fell on the floor laughing, guffawing and every other action that has to do with laughing as Sparro Face-hoofed.

“Shut up idiot. I’m surrounded by ponies… and I know who all of you are!” He said as he looked at the ponies in the room. He pointed to the Mane 6 first. “You are Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity and Fluttershy! Most of the researching I did on this Dimension had something to do with you six!” He said while pointing to the respective ponies who stood their mouths agape except Twilight who had a curios look on her face.

“Excuse me, Dimension?” Sparro ignored the Alicorn and trotted over to Princess Luna who was helping her sister stand up.

“And you must be the Royal Pony Sisters; Princess Celestia and Princess Luna!” Sparro bowed to the Princesses very much like a knight would. “I am Sparro McGraw. I am also known as Univeria Knight. It is an Honor to meet you!”

Trotting over to Fred, Sparro looked at the brown stallion and grey mare. “You two are… Well I know the Mare, You are Ditzy Doo or Derpy Hooves! I don’t which one you like better. Any preference?”
“I-I don’t mind. Derpy is okay.”
“That’s great! I liked that one better! I think that one sounds cuter to say! Ditzy Doo sounds a lot like Scooby-Doo and I could get mixed up with that but for some reason Derpy Hooves reminds me of muffins and muffins are tasty!” Derpy giggled and blushed a little bit at the comment.

“Thanks! I like muffins too! What’s your favorite type?”

“Me? Well I think that White Choc Chip muffins and Blueberry muffins are the best! What’s yours?”

“I think all muffins are good! Well apart from English muffins.”

“Eww. The only things those are good with are eggs and cheese.” Sparro turned towards the Brown Stallion with the green tie. “If I’m correct you are Time Turner. It’s a pleasure meet you too!”

The stallion chuckled at the concept of being called by something that was a disguise. “Oh dear, done in by one of my fake names. Sparro, I am not really Time Turner.”

“Oh Sorry, did I get your name wrong?”

“No Sparro. It’s me, The Doctor. Your Father.” Sparro looked into the blue eyes of the Doctor that were identical to his own. He looked into the far recesses of the Doctor’s mind and could see that the truth had been told. He wasted no time in wrapping the other pony in a hug which was returned just as quickly. “It’s good to see you again… I haven’t seen you since you were only a year old.”

“All this time I thought I never had any family. Look how wrong I was. Speaking of family…” Sparro looked to Fred and they both shouted. “WHERE’S LEANNE?!”

“…Hey Octy! She’s waking up!” Leanne opened her eyes to be greeted by a pony with Purple sunglasses, white fur and a blue mane. “Hey, how are you felling?”
Leanne rubbed her eyes as she thought she was seeing things but this pony looked exactly like Vinyl Scratch and to further surprise her came Octavia Philharmonica walking into the room. Looking down at herself, she could see that she had turned into a light brown earth pony with a brown mane and her blue cap on her head. The only thing she could say was; “IT WORKED!!!”

And Another chapter done and dusted! Next chapter will have more about who Leanne and Sparro are, how the Doctor was living on Earth before the Dinosaurs and what the other ponies will think of Sparro. After all, they just got beaten up by him. And who is Darkk you may ask? Find out next chapter my little ponies!
