The Doctor stumbled through the door to the TARDIS and Twilight rushed over to help him.
"Doctor!" She shouted. She had a worried look in her eyes.
"Just leave me." The Doctor told her. He shut the door and went over to the control panel. He pulled down a lever and, for the last time, he looked at his machine. "I'm gonna miss you, old girl." He smiled and looked at his now glowing hoof. He looked at Twilight sadly. "It's starting." Twilight knew what was happening. A tear fell down her cheek. She rushed over to the Doctor and threw her hooves around him.
"Goodbye, Doctor," She sobbed. "I-I-I love you." She stood back and watched as he took one last look around his time machine. He looked back at Twilight and she saw a tear roll down his cheek. She knew it was over.
"I don't want to go." He sobbed. His hooves, and face began to glow brightly. "Goodbye, Twilight" He burst into a flash of light as it began. The windows were shattered apart and the control panel burst into flames. Bits of the TARDIS began breaking off and crashing to the floor. Twilight shielded her eyes from the light tears fell from her eyes as she watched. Then...the light dimmed and Twilight saw him for the final time. She rushed over. She didn't care that the TARDIS was crashing she just cared that the Doctor was dying. The light had triggered his death. She held him in her hooves as his life began to run out. He looked up at her, sadly. "I'm so sorry." He said. "I am so, so sorry." Twilight didn't say anything. She just leant down and kissed him for the last time. She broke the kiss and The Doctor looked at her sadly. She knew what was about to happen, what he was about to say.
"I love you." At that moment he stopped breathing, Both hearts stopped beating and it was over. Twilight sobbed into his coat heavily. The TARDIS was hurtling towards Equestria but Twilight didn't care. She just stayed there with him as it all came to a halt. There was a crash and a shatter. Then...nothing.
