Alright! I'm watching Wubcake's Equestria Girls "I'll Make a Man Out of You" parody. The line "mysterious as the time of 30 moons!" comes up and I have ANOTHER epiphany.
I mean, seriously, the sheer number of Sonic-related media that was released last year is simply ridiculous:
1) The highly anticipated sequel to the surprisingly well-received live-action movie from 2020
2) A new 3D platformer game that features the very first open world of the series

Also, I find it amusing that in universe, the Bugster virus is outright called a 'Gaming Sickness'.
The episode opens with Emu checking on a young boy named Yuuki who...decidedly does not like doctors and runs off, even when Emu tries using video games to get him to open up, at which point the boy runs off. Victim of the week?

I've talked about the intro SONG, but I think now I'll comment on the visuals: it definitely fits the video game digital theme the series is going for. I like it. Just the theme itself will take time to grow on me.

The episode begins with Pallad commenting that they have 'all the players' and can 'begin playtesting'. Graphite is angry and just wants to kill the Riders and take over, but Pallad comments you 'can't force a puzzle open'.
I do wonder if either of these guys is the Big Bad. It seems Pallad is calling the shots, but I'm not sure.
Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Episode 6 – Feel the Beat In The Heart Live Reaction
The episode begins with Kuroto Dan, the president of Genmu (and Kamen Rider Genmu), allowing Emu to keep his Gekitotsu Robots Gashat because he 'won it fair and square' and they'll likely need it.
Emu shows he's still a doctor and decides to go see if he can find the victim the Bugster he destroyed came from. I like Emu for this: he's an intern, yes, but he's STILL a doctor and he's dedicated to that.
Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Episode 8 Live Reaction – Gentleman, Fly High!
This episode has a special edition opening for the Movie War. I still can't believe the Big Bad of the Movie War is literally Pacman. If this is the first you've heard of that, I'm not joking. The villain is LITERALLY someone wielding the power of Pacman. That's the kind of crazy awesome only Japan is capable of.
tbh i really feel like they were trying to make up for all the criticism of part 1 lmao

One thing I do admit is kinda annoying about this series is that they often don't actually mention the name of the Bugster of the week in the episode. But for reference: the Bugsters that use the Gashats are called Collabos Bugsters.
